D156 as drying agent

Thought I might get it on the DG coating pkg when it came. ;)

But yeah.... I seem to need it (again). ;)

I had put it in my phone last year, but that phone turned into a brick, loosing all my data. AT&T replaced the S3 I had TWICE! Then they FINALLY let me get the S4. (Although I had to use my wife's upgrade to get the darned thing.)

Just hang tight buddy......that DG package is boxed and ready to ship.....Friday is my half day at work so it will ship then.

If there is another DG product you want to play with let me know.

D156 is in my detailing hall of fame. Its a ridiculously great product.

:iagree: x100

Mine as well.. For a spray wax it is properties as an LSP rival many traditional paste waxes and its completely trim safe...

Great for any professional detailing arsenal :pc7424:

I think I am going to order a gallon of D156. I have used the commercial Megs UQW and really like it as I use it more.

Ok just got done using D156 as a drying agent during my rinseless wash. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Cut my waffle weave towel usage in half! Also makes drying so much easier. Incredible stuff really considering how cheap it is by the gallon and how far it goes. Plus the extra little bump in wax protection?! No brainier for anyone on the fence.

So I picked up a gallon of D156.

How are you guys using D156 as a drying aid ?? Are you spraying it onto an already wet panel or are you spraying some onto your waffle weave towel before wiping ???

I would spray it to the current portion of the towel that will be in contact with the paint.

For me the key word here is 'aid'.. therefore, i see it as added lubricity for excess water removal from the vehicle's surface.

So, if not completely waxing the vehicle, i wouldn't spray it to the surface because product can be wasted and is harder to control when airborne...

that being said, if you wanted to mist a section of each panel then spread it around you could, especially for larger panels. it wont hurt anything, just be sure to spread it evenly afterward so all surfaces are evenly coated.. this includes TRIM......

I prefer to always control the exact amount of product and where it is applied for any application I preform. :props:

I wash car as normal, and then immediately mist D156 all over car. Then go on to drying, it def has helped with the drying method. If pressed for time, it helps give me a sense of some protection on car to help maintain what I currently have on the car. For the price, it can't be beat. It is great. Everyone has their own method on how to use it (ex: spray on micro/waffle first, or spray panel and dry and then move on to next panel) This is just my method, its worked, I maintain weekly, I can't complain.

I have used Detailer’s Pro Series Final Gloss™ Quick Detailer as a drying aid as well, worked great for me.

One problem I have is due to lack of shade water dries and creates spots very quickly. On a small car I can get all around it fast enough that nothing really dries. On an SUV not so much. I have to wash and dry half of the car at a time to prevent spotting.

Using this method, after I wash a panel, could I spray it down and keep washing and then to return to dry with no issues, or would even the spray on product start to dry quickly too?
