This is my first experience with rotaty, so I decided to use my daily driver as a "lab rat".
Amazingly everything turnout smooth, bottom line - I love Makita 9227C. Still have a lot to learn, especially when polishing vertical surfaces.
By the way, this car never looked so good since the first day it was in a family ('99 Infiniti I30t, 106k miles on the clock).

I really like the look of that AutoGlym HD. It looks really nice when it beads water as well.:props:

Nice job, supercharged. I agree, really sweet list of products.

What ratio of Diablo Gel did you use?

How many miles you have on that beast? I am a fan of luxury cars.... both domestic and foreign.

Very nice! Looks like to put a lot of work into it. Where's the supercharger?

So do I. I seen videos of how well it sheets water, and really wanted to try it. Plus I had an awesome deal on it, ended up paying only around $60 for it...Keep in mind that most of the look comes from paint prep. This is where Makita is really your friend...

Thanks, I get bored using the same thing over and over, and like to try something different...mostly leaning towards UK products now...3:1 was my dillution ratio for diablo wheel gel. It is still clings like crazy...In original consistency it is so thick, it's almost like Jello...

107k miles, and it's '99. I really like this car, especially considerig low operating cost...
great daily driver...

Thanks, Gary. It did consume some time, but I was very pleased with results...like I said I was never able to achieve these results with a PC, and although Flex was pretty close, I will still say that it took LESS time to do it with rotary, yet paint correction was done faster...by the way, there is no need for a supercharger for it, it's a low operating cost daily driver...now I'm thinking about getting a VW Jetta TDI for a daily driver...a co-worker of mine get's 47MPG on average on his Jetta TDI, while I average around 22MPG. That's because I'm thinking of trading my Acura in and getting a new ('07 and up) BMW X5...maybe even X5M...

1z describes their leather product as basically a wax. How do you like it?

supercharged, thanks for the response. I really like Diablo also and have been using it at 2:1 and 3:1. Once I am finished with my last gallon (initially ordered 2), I won't be buying it anymore. $64 is too much and I don't notice a difference in cleaning power between Diablo and Sticky Gel, even at similar dilution ratios. In fact, Sticky Gel seems to clean tires much better.

I like that even dilluted it still remains a gel...
