I like the idea of beefing it up with Megs Hybrid Ceramic Wax and Hybrid Ceramic Detailer as well

I really like Megs HCW and HCD

Megs HCD/m799 bead booster is an awesome topper. Prior to Can Coat that was the best beading product I've ever used. In the short term (1-2 weeks) the beading is as good as anything I've seen.

Unfortunately the product was poorly marketed by Meguiar's IMO. Being it also lacked an "sio2" component didn't help in the marketing department either, even though it doesn't matter.

I forgot about Cquartz Lite that is also very good.

You mentioned easy to apply and Can Coat Evo is silly easy.

This is one of the sticking points with investing myself in many Meguiars products

Over the years there have been many Megs products that eventually turned out to be awesome but Megs discontinued them, and I am sure poor marketing was at the heart of the issue

I HATE finding something that really works and then BAM, it's gone

I would almost rather not have found it in the first place

I feel the same way lol. I completely get it.

Even though I can't use it until next summer I feel like doing what Bosko did and get a couple boxes of the Megs HPC put back for the future

People point out the phenomenal shelf life

My bikes would probably benefit from it as well during their yearly teardown and rebuild

If Meg's Hybrid goes by the way side like the 2 gender bathroom....I'm going to tear the tag off my mattress..under penalty of law or not!....:D

It's because it's under pressure in the can.....:xyxthumbs:

You will like the panel wipe as well...the little bottle is awkward, but M122 is nice stuff

Meguiar'''s M122 Surface Prep

It is SHOCKINGLY easy to apply and remove...and I ain't kidding!!

Are the 2 supplied MF towels enough to work all the way around a medium SUV?

Since they say don't reuse the towels what towels have you used for the rest of the can?

He'd be out of jail in a day anyway...

Damn bail reform. ;)

I have McKee’s 37 Graphene Sealant that I applied on my car at the beginning of May. I only wash every few weeks and maintain with McKee’s 37 Hydro Blue or Hydro Graphene (spray on, rinse off products). Still holding strong. Protection is supposed to be about a year, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I got close to that.

You're doing it right.

It punches above it's weight class.

Also ridiculously easy to use.

I feel like Gloss Coat is overlooked. It's a really nice easy to use coating.

I think others come in at a lower price point and deliver more of what the general detailing public likes. The enthusiast and the professional look for different things. I found a compromise in offering a ceramic coating that satisfies the enthusiast side of me and the efficiency and functionality for the professional side of me.

I can deliver a service I'm more confident in - in that I applied it to the best of my ability. And with each application I'll get better at it and know better it's idiosyncrasies. Sure I could do that with any coating, but then I'm inhaling fumes and throwing away applicators / wipe off towels. The latter points are turning out to be even more important the longer I go on applying the Xpel stuff at work. I don't pay for the coatings, applicators, or wipe off towels but I do get to enjoy inhaling those fumes! Ha!

One thing I considered is paying out of my pocket for someone to come in and apply the Xpel or Ceramic Pro for me. Our rep at Xpel told me that there are people who just show up to apply professional grade ceramic coatings.

We have a MI detailers page on FB and a prominent local detailer friend of mine added me to it. I'll probably ask there if there is someone local who can do that. If I go independent I will absolutely do that and pass along the cost to the shop.

Are those 2 different sizes of the product, referring to the blue cap on 2 of them and black cap on the other 2?

I am looking to order some and I am only seeing one size

Or maybe an older and a newer packaging version?
