Dang! Check this out! --> New Crimson Ultra Finishing Hydro-Tech Pads!

Thank you Eric at Lake Country for sending us a TON of the brand new Crimson Ultra Finishing Hydro-Tech Pads to give away as samples at this year's Detail Fest.

There's benefits to attending Detail Fest!

Check out the custom imprinting! Nice touch Eric! Very cool indeed...

If you'll sign this one when you're here for Detail Fest I'll hang this on on the wall in my office!

Sweet! I like the Cyan and tangerine. Glad to see they brought a finishing pad.

Did they ever fix the backing material issue were it ripped off?

Well FIRST... I would like to thank Eric for supplying these brand new pads as samples at no cost to us or the people that attend.

Anytime backing material rips off, that's either a sign of an adhesive issue or abusing a product. You can only make an adhesive so strong and if a pad or the backing material fails after that then we have to look at other factors as the cause.

If the problem is centered around using a tool that oscillates then the violent oscillating action at high speeds over time creates heat and this can lead to a failure SOMEWHERE and usually it will be the weak link and in the case of pads that use a hook and loop interface, that weak link will usually be in the adhesive.

I've been posting to forums as long as they been around and detailing cars by machine since the first time a painted and then sanded and buffed out my first car in the early 1980's and MOST of the problems I've seen surrounding pad failure are related to extreme use, abuse or mis-use of a pad.

Most important thought is we would like to thank Eric for supplying these brand new pads as samples at no cost to us or the people that attend.

So while your question is a good one, I don't want to this thread to go south when I think the supplier does a stellar job of manufacturing top shelf products and backing them up with professional customer service.

If you have more questions about any thing related to this isue then please start your own dedicated thread for this topic or I'll create one for you.

Thanks...

Very nice of Lake Country to include us in this new product, and with our logo!! Eric is the man!! :props:

ahhh very nice, are they as firm as the cyan pads are?

THis is excellent! I haven't had any issues with my HT pads (just ordered some more this time 5.5") and look forward to adding this one!

I'll have to give a couple a try, if I ever get to place another order. When will they be on the site for sale?

Does your wife or girlfriend have you on AG probation? My girlfriend gives me such a hard time about buying pads... she thinks I have way too many. I try to tell her you can never have enough but she just doesnt seem to understand

My wife is fine with me buying things. We just had a baby. The money is going elsewhere right now(hospital bills, diapers and etc).

Im sorry mike... I didnt mean it like that. Your right , that is super nice of Lake Country for sending you all samples and it sweetens the deal that they put the AG logo on the backing.
I hope no one took my comment the wrong way. Im sorry lake country for bringing that up as well.
I have never had beef with these pads, I was given three cyan pads and I loved them.
Again... sorry everyone:grouphug:

I don't think any offense was taken. Good on you for a sincere apology just in case.

OH, and I meant to say thank you to LC and AG for such a wonderful gift:)
