I get a little obsessed about microfiber towels and I've spent over a year trying out towels from various vendors and I thought I had my favorites for every category pretty much nailed down. My collection includes towels from many brands including quite a few from a pricey German brand whose name I won't mention. But, I kept hearing about the Griots PFM drying towel. I have some drying towels that I really like, but I couldn't resist at least trying out the Griots drying towel. I ordered one and finally got a chance to try it out today.

Holy cow!!! I really didn't think it would be as good as the towels I had been using, but boy was I wrong. This Griots towel is absolutely amazing. I used it with a rinseless wash. I had the entire hood wiped down with rinseless wash, then I just laid the towel on the hood, lifted it back off and the hood was completely dry. That was already better than what my previous towel would do, but to make it better yet there was absolutely no linting (which my previous towel would do a little bit). I think I probably could have dried 2-3 cars with this same towel based on how dry it still felt after finishing this car. So now I have to pick up some more Griots drying towels and figure out what I'm going to do with my currently second favorite towels...

I hear nothing but great feedback on those towels. Getting ready to order a few. Thanks for sharing.

They are amazing....my 7-year old nephew was helping me on a Silverado a week ago.....I let him use the towel....he actually said...."wow, that's like magic".....these things are all that they advertise to be....I never thought I'd spend almost 40.00 for a drying towel...but it was worth every penny

Kesmit which towel is it? Can you post a link to it on AG?

I keep hearing things about these awesome towels lol.
I do like griots alot and specially there warrianty on machines. At the moment i use some waffle weave drying towels and they do ok.
Maybe i'll have to try these though.

$40 ? Not me.

There wax removal towel and dual weave glass towels are also top notch. Very good quality.

I actually had some of the wax removal towels first. I like them, but they didn't blow me away. Haven't tried the glass towels. That's another one that I have many of from the popular German brand.

Is anything special needed for care/washing of the towel or just the normal MF wash/dry procedure?
