Hey guys,

This is my roommates SUV, he treats it like crap, even though he's put a lot into it. Some mods include the K&N brute force cold air, Borla Exhaust, Alpine 6.5 touchscreen, blah blah. I actually once caught him drying his car down with a kitchen rag that had french fry oil on it... and it also still had food on it...

Since Boca Raton is a huge waterpark, it's inevitable that he gets sprayed with the sprinklers' hard water and it usually sits in the yard every night.

Nevertheless, I told him I'd buff his problems out if he bought the chemicals and pads. I only did the paintwork; no windows, tires, etc etc.

All in all, I only needed a bottle of XMT4 and two yellow LC pads.

Here are the nasty befores:

I drive like I'm in a rally race, trying to time it to avoid the multiple sets of sprinklers spraying everywhere:D . Good work.

Nothing infuriates me more than driving down the road and they have the damn sprinklers spraying the road. The counties preach water conservation and yet the sprinklers are spraying everwhere. I don't care if its recycled water. It still being wasted not to mention it XXXX's up our hard work.

Wow...that Toyota looked bad...oh and the scratches look bad...did you have to wetsand?

What did you use?? Rotary? PC? (edit) my bad I just read it quickly and when I scrolled up I saw that it was XMT #4 and PC.

How deep were those scratches, they look quite deep...mmm....

No problem! Qestions are good. The scratches, I'd say, were moderately deep. I've seen worse. The main plague on this car was the water spotting. The car was a different color when I finished, plus it didn't look like it was covered with mercury anymore!

You did a great job, looks like a new vehicle.

Great job! The "Afters" look great!
You used XMT4 and Yellow LC pads. Did you use any other polish after XMT4/Yellow pad?

Maybe your roommate was on to something! Make the paint look slick, and also we know how oil and water don't mix................. No chance for any more water spots!! Tah! Dah! :D

hahaha, come to thnk of it, he may or may not have had a few drinks before that ;)

actually, i didnt have to finish with any other products after xmt4/yellow. i learned justin's technique of speeding up with faster movements and light pressure to no pressure to really finish off the paint lightly. it saves a lot of time and works like a charm!

That XMT #4 sure did the trick for you there. Excellent work on that beast.
