DARISSE Boots - CarPro Cquartz Fabric & Leather Coating Test

I bought Stacy a pair of DARISSE BLACK MICRO FABRIC Over The Knee Boots for her birthday last month.

She asked me to get her something to to water-proof them and protect them from spills. The next day Nick posts this,

Fate
Seems like it's fate that we were destined to put this new product to the test so I brought her new boots to work today and applied the new CarPro Cquartz Fabric & Leather Coating.

Perfect Timing
These boots are brand new, never been worn so there's no need to clean them and right now is the best and perfect time to treat them. If you pull the trigger briskly it does a good job of atomizing the spray. I was holding the camera in my left hand and spraying with my right hand and was lucky to get an "action" shot of spray coming out of the nozzle. After I put the camera down I was able to better spray the product to bet a better spray pattern and more even coverage.

Forced Dried
Next I used a heat gun and force dried the coating. This left the microfiber material looking like it looked when they were new.

Girls like shoes and boots too...
I'd never heard of this company till she started leaving me hints. Been around a while though...

That's it for now. I'm going to let them continue to dry and allow the coating to fully cure to the fibers before giving them back to her. She's' planning on wearing them out this weekend and maybe I can get her to wear them down here so we can test how well the hydrophobic beading feature works.

Mike I've been pleased with it as well. This video I made was my first dealing with it and it really was impressive!

Alright, now I want it!:awesome:

Now how would either of you say this compares to Scotch Guard?

Personally, I would have done just one. That would be the perfect test of protection.

Of course, you can't tell her that he spiffy new boots are just a test subject for a new car detailing product.

Now that would be funny (not really but yes, until she found out) kinda like a 50/50 segment to see if there's a difference.
