Dashboard help, residue removed now no shine

303 makes 303. Meguiar's also makes a "natural shine" product if I'm not mistaken, which you should be able to find locally, which won't be so shiny. But if you've really removed color from the dash, it's going to need paint or dye to look like the rest...or scrub the rest of the dash to match!

I like the idea of just a dressing since its quick and cheap. I'll try to get a good daylight pic, and maybe you can tell me if color was removed or if its just texture/dressing needed.

Any thoughts on this stuff?

The various products are available separate. Since I don't need to repair rips etc, maybe just the clear coat and color match?

I'm no expert at this, and I think it may be hard for anyone to tell from a photograph exactly what the condition is. The dye is a good bet, but you may have to do the entire dash to get a uniform appearence.

Update - I used some Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner/conditioner I had laying around. Applied a few times. It's much better now, but still there. The color seems fine. I need to seal it or something so it has that sealed shine like the rest. Any ideas??

So you're saying now that the color seems to be the same as the rest of the dash, but it's not shiny? I think I suggested that shiny Meg's interior dressing earlier in the thread but you said you don't like shiny.

Correct. And I'm more looking for a sealer than a dressing, since the dressing tends to wear off and is only temporary. Looking for something I can rub in and seal the surface. Kinda like polymer paint sealers but for this.
