Does anyone know the ratio I have looked but not much info maybe looking in wrong place.
Appears to be able to foam.
This is a step to do a ceramic coating.

Thanks in advance

Using dish soap should not be any part of a ceramic coating job.

Saw that years ago. Can’t believe it’s still there.

Surely that was before Gyeon brought alkaline soaps to market (Re-start and Foam) or is this still a current recommendation. Certainly a strange recommendation.

I have been told if the current coating is good condition use Dawn and a IPA wipe down.

Dawn has a lot of surfactants to cause water sheeting and prevent water spots on your dishes. Your IPA wipedown should remove that, but it would be better to not put them on there in the first place, and use one of the automotive "reset" soaps, however, you can certainly do it the way you are suggesting if you have other reasons to use Dawn.

The current instructions for Mohs has removed the dish soap reference. Just a strong degreasing agent.
So now Gyeon says dish soap not required but *professional detailing shop* is. LOL. 1 step forward . . .
Ironic that MOHS is one of the easier full-on coatings for the home hobbyist to apply, too.

Where else will you find a magical polisher than can polish a car without human control?

Reason for using Dawn is I have it and at this stage just the one car to do.
Got Carpro Eraser instead of IPA.
If I used Dawn would Eraser be sufficient to remove everything?
