Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 am on Sunday, March 8th! :righton:

I don't know about the rest of you guys and gals, but I'm ready to wash my car in the daylight again! As much as I love rinseless washes, nothing beats dragging out the hose and bucket and washing the car after a day at work; deep cleaning wheels, scrubbing tires, and flushing out all the dirt and leaves from the windshield cowl simply isn't possible (or convenient) with a rinseless wash.

Surely I'm not the only one looking forward to having more daylight to tinker around with the car. :dblthumb2:

And yes, I do have sympathy for our friends up north that can't even wash their car right now! :(

:buffing:

Ahh man losing an hour of sleep haha

Looking forward to more daylight hours for sure!

Now I can mow the lawn on the weekdays instead of the weekend and leave the weekend open for detailing :xyxthumbs:.

Are you kidding me? I've been waiting months for my clocks to be right again :D

We don't do Daylight Savings here in Arizona. Makes time keeping simple.

I am dying! Not looking forward to the heat of summer, but definitely enjoy more light later.

Couldn't agree more. It's been a long winter in Wisconsin. Can't wait for the warmup so I can put some recently purchased detailing products from AGO to good use on a couple of daily drivers. Thought I saw a thread about waiting until we hit 60 degree ambient temp before detailing? Assuming that's still the case?

" Daylight, No Light... It"ll just keep snowing "

no DLS in AZ!!! the hardest part about it in remembering what time it is when calling family on either coast.

In Germany we don't spring forward till the end of March! Sucks

I wanna live where there's no DLS ! What a dumb concept, change it 1/2 hour and LEAVE IT

MOW THE LAWN!?!?!!?!?!?!? I haven't seen my lawn since December! You're horrible!

Good point Frank...:dblthumb2:

Mowing the yard is the only thing I don't like about summer. As you know, in Florida we have to cut the yard every 4-5 days (tops!) or it gets out of control. I think this year I'll scour Craigslist for a used riding mower. :)

Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in :). I don't know how you guys do it year after year. Everything stays green all year round here in South FL.

I'm sure you will have the shiniest mower on the block :buffing:

Frank,

I'm actually laughing out loud over here, because I thought the EXACT same thing when I made that post; how cool would it be to restore the paint/plastic on a riding lawnmower?
