The brush really does a great job cleaning the wheels, the bristles are outstanding...however...I hate the handle!!! It always unscrews from the brush, and now is getting loose. What were they thinking using "wood" for a handle that's exposed to "water". Why not put a plastic handle on the brush that's "permanently" attached. If they made that change, it would be a perfect brush. I would be willing to pay more for it with that change. Another great thing about the brush is it's made in the good old USA!!! :dblthumb2:

Just my 2 cents!!

Greg

I haven't had that issue. My only gripe is when using low/no foaming wheel cleaner the brush splatters grimy cleaner/dirt all over the place. I wish that rubber ring at the handle was a larger diameter to shield you from splatter.

I just bend mine to a 90 degree angle and position myself on the side of the wheel to avoid splatter.

Drill a hole in a Frisbee and poke your brush through it, Voila!!:bolt:

Has anyone out there had one of these where the handle broke? I think mine is starting to feel flimsy at the handle, but it could just be my imagination. Just picked up 2 of the little ones on BOGO. Hoping they fit between the barrel and the caliper.

Yeah just last week. The metal wire just snapped, right above the handle. I really like the brush but it didn't last me as long as I'd hoped.

I have one of those brushes (for years) but no longer use it. Wheel Woolies and Swissvax Wheel Brushes are WAY better! They work extremely well and NO splatter.

Dan.

How are you guys shaking the water out of the brush? Are you holding the handle and then shaking? I have found that this will increase the chance of breaking the wire. Because as you make the brush longer the more force you put on the shaft as you shake it.

What I have found works best is to grab the wire shaft just above the handle and then shake it out. This makes the brush shorter and reduces the stress on the shaft.

Never had mine break and I abuse it. I think mine has a plastic handle. I've heard the rubber end falling off, but I would use Plastidip for that.

Epoxy it back or call AG or wherever you bought it.

I had a customers dog take off with mine one day while at their house, I could not find it anywhere! The cust called me back a day later and I went out there, only to find my brush had no handle at all! The damn dog chewed it off!! I wrapped some black tape around what was left and rolled on.. Lol

mine never broke off but it did come unscrewed so to say. And that was only the 4th vehicle it was used on. had some gorilla super glue on me so i put some glue on the wire an screwed it back into the handle and ive never had a problem with it again. (over a year old an hundreds of customers cars). hope this helps som

I'm going to add the glue, and hope for the best. Still like how the brush cleans the wheels.
