Dealership detailing

but the people who use dealership detailing are the ones who take it through the swirl-o-matic so it's ok if the results don't last forever.

I mean this question very seriously: is this your opinion or the opinion of the dealership? Perhaps it's just my jaded view of dealerships, but I the reasoning for the opinion differs greatly between you and them.

My opinion, but here's the thing. One of the dealers I work at has a car wash that customers can use as much as they want for free. The people who get their car detailed are always there at least once a week to run it through the wash and then when they are done, they start drying it with a bath towel or paper towels. Even if we did provide true paint correction, the results would be gone pretty soon due to the behavior of the customers.

Now, the other dealership I work at, we will offer true paint correction with Ceramic Pro 9H, if they want it.
