Before I cash in my chips there are two places I need to visit....

1. The USS Arizona Memorial
2. Normandy

Taps really bothers me to this day....

I have been to the Arizona Memorial. I want to visit Normandy and Bastogne where a great uncle died.

It's a day that changed the world. Chances are we would have resisted entering WWII at much later date. History shows that Germany was only weeks away from jet propulsion when the war ended. Our getting in because of the attack on Pearl may have saved the world from a much worse fate

God bless the greatest generation. The world owes them a debt that can never be fully repaid.
