Okay fellow AG'ers, I've been detailing for about 3 years now. I started my business Finishing Touch Auto early 2013. There's a huge market that most professional detailers can't tap into. Customers that don't care about the finish on their paint can't justify spending 20-30 on an exterior wash. I am referring to Mike's Swirls vs Squirrels post. I have reached so many customers that usually use tunnel washes by using waterless washes. Because of the volume of waterless washes that I do vs real detailing, I decided to start another brand just for that group of customers. Eco Glo was the name I decided on and I went to Fiverr to get a logo made. After 15 days of waiting I was sent these 3 options.
Fiverr Eco Glo Options
I get one revision so throw me any ideas. Also if you don't like any of them it's only 5 bucks down the drain and if I need to I'll just scrap them all. I'm kinda thinking about doing a combination of the first one and the second one. I want something that can be printed on a shirt, simplicity is key. Most customers out there aren't analyzing the logo, it just needs to be something that sticks in your head. Everyone knows the Facebook logo and the Apple logo, they aren't anything special, just something you can easily remember. Branding can make or break a business. Thanks everyone for the help, I love this community and plan on staying for years to come.

Really like the first one... a definite eye catcher but at first glance it does not relate to car care. Any chance to add this to a car themed background?

edit: I just read the remaining part of your comment and I guess we both have the same idea ;)

I'd ask for a revision that is a combination of the 1st and 2nd one. I think the font/effects from the 1st one would go good with the car image of the 2nd one.

Good luck! I used fiverr for my logo as well and had a good experience.

Middle car in front of the company name in the first one and remove the spray bottle and anything else that doesn't make it as clean.

Looks like everyone agrees on using the text from #1, I'm still not decided on whether I want to keep the sprayer nozzle. And I like the car idea from #2 but don't quite like the exact car he used, I think it'd look better with an exotic looking car. Or maybe something car related but totally different. Any other ideas on how to integrate car detailing with the first logo?

1st one i dont know what you are selling.

2nd one looks good to me since not too much going on and the company name is clear.

3rd one there is too much green and you get lost easily and from far away it may all blend together and you could not see the company at all.

just a recommendation but on your business cards i would put your exact services

Just throwing out an idea.
This would be a custom photograph.

Use a car in the background with dark back drop. In the foreground show a mist from a spray bottle consuming the car. You will need bright lights to catch the spray.
Then put your info inside the spray.

What kind of business is Eco Glo? Can't tell from your logo. Branding is very important. You might want to hire someone to help you build a brand.

:iagree: All 3 are good but I can't tell what your company does.

I'm having trouble understanding why the logo needs to say what the company does? Isn't that what the website, business cards, brochures, talking to customers, etc. is for? A logo is a brand image, not a road sign. Simplicity is key in the computer age. Correct me if I'm wrong..

If it was me...

1.Change that drab green to a day-glow green. Similar to the Nike color that's so popular right now. It' catches your eye fast. Either that or bright yellow. Goes well with the word 'Glo'.

2. Incorporate some black in there. Either as an outline or some of the letters.

3. Add a "glow" around the word GLO. Hard to explain but small straight lines coming "from the word glo". Or a halo around Glo.

Lose the spray bottle, no need for the ubiquitous car outline that everyone uses, maybe go with more modern font style in all lower case.

Maybe I can play around with some ideas for you.

When starting out people need to now what business is and does. Having a logo that no ones and have no idea of what your business does. Most your business at first will be word of mouth. Your work will do most the talking and would of mouth. My logo is very simple and I'm booked 2 weeks out all year long even during winter. I have thought of updating my logo but no need I'm busy all the time. I think your over thing this but thats just me.

Revisions

Alright, so he sent me 3 revisions. New logo choices
What do you guys think? I get to choose one to finalize, I'm thinking concept 1, but I feel like it could use some changes, I'm just not sure what.
