Looking For Something More Than Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant. Has Anyone Tried Jetseal, Klasse Or Any Other Sealant That Gives A Better Look Besides Protection.

I just ordered the jetseal and am waiting for it to get to me. I will let you how it works but won't have much to compare it too since I just started. It is supposed to cure very quickly as compared to the day most other stuff tells you. Good for the impatient people. And I am El Presidente of the Impatient People Club.

Haven't tried Jetseal (although I'd like to), but I can say, Klasse SG leaves a different look than WG DGPS, it definately has more "shine" but it also very "flat" looking in my opinion. I do think it looks very good when topped with a nice wax like Souveran though. The biggest drawback in my opinion is application, here WG absolutely destroys KSG... I tried in on my sisters mini cooper (not a lot of paint) and first tried applying a thin layer and letting it sit for a few minutes... removal was similar to the old turtle wax... buff and buff and buff and buff and buff... extremely hard to remove without streaking. After that test area, I switched to the wipe on wipe off method and this definately was easier, but I wonder how much it sacrifices durability and protection doing this? I've also read that spritzing with H2O helps with removal, but again, I wonder if it adversely impacts the durability and/or protection.

Thanks makdaddy626 for your comments, I agree totally with yourcomments on compromising especially by adding h20. I have a white diamond paint and to make it look like a show rim shine is a challenge. I feel pretty much like everyone else on this forum always trying to find something better or experiment. Have never tried Klasse but diffinetly always looking.

Do you know how long it takes to cure?

According to the way its written up it sounds like you put it on the entire car and remove it after 15 minutes. 20 minutes after you take it off you can reapply more. Looking at it again that doesn't say cure time. Guess I was in such a hurry I didn't read all the way to the bottom. Oh well I will let you guys know; if no one else chimes in, with a definite cure time when I get it.

TH0001 have you made any comparisons or are you just saying Zaino from past use. I'd just like to know the characteristics of the product before I invest. Thanks for the reply.

Gary, whatever you decide to go with, be sure to post a review... I've been using WG mostly but would love to find something better.

Gary, as soon as you said "white diamond paint" I thought DG#105. I have never used WGDGPS so I can't compare. DG #105 was the favorite of many members on white so I put it on a pearl white Avalon and see why it's a favorite.

I have Wolfgang sealant and Jetseal, to me the Wolfgang looks alot better. I am glad I was given the bottle of Jetseal before it was released to the public because it is not worth the money.

I remember seeing a thread on Autopia where it showed beading pictures and the durability of Jetseal was terrible. Wolfgang DGPS looks great on black. On white I've had good like with Jeffs Werkstat AJ and or Optimum Opti-seal.

I found Jetseal to be more hype when all was said and done. Klasse itself is slightly sterile looking and needs a good qd'er+ with additional gloss to really stand out. Four Star UPP and Zaino Z5Pro are the two other choices. Both are super glossy , look great, and feel wonderful. UPP is a little easier to use initially but does stand up longer when you add the Polycharger additive.

i have used jetseal-werkstatt-klasse-megs 21-os

and imo zaino KILLS them all

I have a white diamond paint

With that statement and the fact that you are looking for a sealant I have yet to see anything that beats Duragloss 501 followed by Dura Gloss 105.. Wite is hard to make bling but that combo is a knockout especially on whites and silvers!!

Thanks everyone that's the type of info I was looking for. I really appreciate the people here at AG. We all may not share the same opinions but with a little brain storming a solution or two always seems to be found. Thanks again everyone.:righton:

My go to sealants are Wolfgang DGPS and Surf City Nano Seal. For a quik seal, i use Surf City. Takes about 20-30 mins to seal 90% of the paint, 24 hours to seal a 100%. Its been on my element for about 4 months (30 min cure), beads like crazy and its been a rough winter. Im very happy with the SC Seal and leaves a very nice clean crisp shine.

Thanks Budman great comparison. Like I said before I love this site, because of the people and all the knowledge. Thanks again for all your answers and time.

I just used the Pinnacle Deep Gloss Paint Sealant today on my detail vehicle. It went on very easy, and easy off. What I noticed is that you want to stick to covering small areas. I could see this sealant dry in a thin sheet. This happened when I tried to cover to large an area. It's like a thin coat of plastic. I really liked how it felt afterwards. Can't wait to see how durable it is!
