I have become quite comfortable with my PC 7424XP, M105/M205 on orange LC ccs pads. Doing $100,000 collector cars, Benz, BMW etc. I wet sanded and buffed my front and rear freshly painted bumper covers on my 94 Z28 with this setup(black).
I bought a truck with some deep scratches, through the clear into the paint scratches.
I have heard you can fill them back to just a tad higher than the existing paint, wet sand and buff back down.
Can someone please point out the do's and dont's here?
I am not looking for a show quality repair, just to make it better.
All comments appreciated.
Here is my detail pic collection if anyone is interested.
