I want to make a logical choice in terms of rinse. I have an older RODI unit. I want to have it fed into a water tank and use that for the final rinse step.

1) Should I run an entirely different pump for this?
2) If not, is there a safe way to tie it into my existing CoxReel pressure washer hose?
3) Tank/reservoir size, I assume ~20 gal? 2gal/minute I assume that gives me enough to do a thorough wash on 1 car, or run 2 cars if needed since to refill it will have to run for many hours.

Since I have my pressure washer on the wall, I cant really gravity feed it down. I dont want to mount a tank on the wall.

Since locally tap water TDS is ~800, its just plain stupid to try and use a DI filter only. I can fill the tank for cents per rinse instead.

Suggestions?
Thanks

Do you have any pictures of the current RO system? Does it have a built-in pressure switch on it that shuts it off when it reaches a certain pressure?
If it does you could get yourself an RO pressure tank for it to fill up and then get a 3-way valve and use one input for your tap water and then the other input for your RO/DI water and the output port would go to the input of your pressure washer. Then it is as simple as turning the valve between tap and RO.
If your current RO system does not have a pressure switch you could add one on the tank and use it to turn your pump on and off.
