Destin Fl.

Spent almost every weekend at Panama City Beach one summer. Place was hopping. The tallest buildings were two story hotels. The beaches were some of the most beautiful in the world.

Them bull sharks have a nasty attitude:mad:...you have a better chance of hanging out with an Great White and not getting attacked lol.

We usually go lobstering down in the keys with our friends and neighbors. In fact lobster season is approching quick. We find the lobsters one of two ways. Scuba diving or what we call trolling. Trolling is basically putting ski ropes off the back of the boat and having one or two people with mask, snokel and fins look for an area where there might be some lobsters while the boat pulls you slowly. If you see something you just let go of the rope and the boat stops while you check it out. There are a lot of places where the lobsters hide like old lobster traps, steel drums, pieces of PVC pipe of what ever. You always see a lot of nurse sharks on the bottom which is not big deal because they don't mess with you. Two summers ago we were trolling and one of my neighbors was in the water behind the boat. As we were trolling a bull shark goes right under him going in the opposite direction. We can see the shark from the boat and stop and turn around to get him. He starts swimming like a mad man towards the boat which you are not suppose to do. Anyway's we get him up on the swim plateform and we can see the shark about 10 feet away. He said as he saw the shark go under him he keep looking back and saw the shark start to turn around. He said he panicked and just started swimming like a mad man to the boat. We always get a lot of laughs when we talk about it but it could have turned out bad. Most of the fatal shark attacks in Florida are from bull sharks. When I'm scuba diving and under water I never worry about the sharks. Shark attacks on humans are rare but they almost always happen at the surface.
