Detail Box Members

Will runs "detailERS box", which started 6-7 months after "DetailBox". Pretty sure he did not come up with the idea.

I think WaxyBox hit the nail on the head. You get much more in their boxes than the American companies.

The WaxyBox usually comes with 5 product samples PLUS MF towels, applicators, brushes, stickers etc.

The ones mentioned in this thread only come with the samples and maybe one other thing, from what I've seen.

Aaaaaaaaaaand just like that I will have $15 less in my pocket every month thanks to this strange addiction that I have... Thanks a lot Flash! :)

Your not alone. And on this forum, your never alone.

Surprised AG hasnt come up with a similar idea. They would need a separate department just for it!

I agree, I think they would make a killing off of this.

I think these boxes if managed right will eventually grow to include some of that and better size samples. Will`s Detailer`s Box had bigger samples than Detail Box. On the other hand, Detail Box had some samples worth more. Give it a while to catch on and get bigger. I honestly had`nt heard of Detail Box until Son1c posted about it on Instagram, and they had been doing it for 6 months prior.

A little disappointed with this months box. Not with the products so much, but for not having a description of their use. I don't have time to guess what product does what

The Starburst was delicious and pink is my favorite flavor, so you nailed that part. The hand written note was a nice touch too

:dblthumb2:

I found out about Solution Finish through Detail Box and (cough, cough) A Meguiar's guy said the stuff is great, plus I have used it and the stuff has shown to be really promising (haven't done thorough testing) so can't comment on the longevity.

I have gotten one of my two subscriptions, still waiting on the second.

I agree. I can't even find Amerione on their website.

Edit: Amerione is their new one step polish.

I've tested it, but haven't had time to come to a conclusion

I found their website. It's at the bottom of the bottle(s). You need a magnify glass to see it. Once there though I found no help as far as pictures of the product so I could compare colors. They need to step their game up on their website

The microfiber towel from Rag Company looks nice. If the coupon was for 10% I would possibly do some shopping. I'm not feeling it @ 5%

I'm getting it now. Each product has it's own name. I didn't notice the first 3 times I looked at the bottles

+1 right down to the flavor of the Starburst.

Nice package, decent size samples and the MF towel looks good. :xyxthumbs: A short description of the samples would complete this kit.

Here is a description of each product:

Amerirocks Compound

BodyShop Safe Compound
Amerirocks is named after the term "rocks in a bottle". It’s a tried and true heavy leveling Non-Diminishing Abrasive Compound , only for the courageous. We recommend this product only for those educated in the trade of polishing. This product is a true craftsman compound. It’s very fast cutting abilities will remove paint defects quickly with minimal effort and dusting.
Working times can vary depending on machine type and pressure. When used with a rotary machine such as a Dewalt Polisher, we recommend wool or foam pads with the ideal speeds between 1800 and 2200 rpms. Foam pads will build more heat faster, so we recommend the speed to stay under 2000 rpms when polishing with foam. If the compound would begin to dry during the buffing cycle, mist the polishing area or pad with Ameritouch to lubricate the surface, continue compounding as needed. When used with a Dual Action Polisher, it’s very important to use a primed pad with speed of around 4 or 5 on most Dual Action Polishers. We recommend either a microfiber pad of foam polishing pad for dual action polishers.

Helpful Tips
• Keep slow arm speed and allow the product to work itself
• Moderate pressure should be applied
• Do not buff the product until dry. Keep it wet
• Work in smaller two by two areas.

Ameridepth Polish

Ameridepth is a final polish that will create maximum gloss without compromise. Unlike traditional polishes, Ameridepth is not oily. Its unique diminishing abrasives will breakdown slowly to allow longer working cycles. When used with a dual action polisher, Ameridepth works better at slower speeds on machines with smaller orbits. Preferred orbit size is 15mm or below. Rotary machines users should run the polisher between 1200 to 1800 rpms, pad pressure should be constant. Ameridepth is safe in a automotive body shop atmosphere.

Ameriseal Paint Sealant

Ameriseal utilizes some of the most advance polymers today. Its highly durable and slick surface produces a deep reflective look on already polished paint. It goes on with ease and comes off easier. Ameriseal needs to be shaken properly before each use. It is best applied in light coats using a dual action polisher and a finishing pad at slow speeds. It can be layered by itself or with Ameriwax 33.
