Have flown into Roanoke and it's not cheap, is Richmond to far for you. It's usually cheaper out of there.

So far Richmond is the cheapest, $50-$100 less. It's about 2 hours away as is Greensboro, NC but they are back around the $400 mark again. I just have to keep checking. Maybe I'll come across a special deal one day.
 
Just booked my hotel room a few hours ago. Bringing my dad down - he's an old school guy, and all this stuff on my shelves confuses the crap out of him, so it should be an interesting experience for him. Can't wait to get there and meet you guys! :dblthumb2:

Agreed with that. I can't wait to get out of this nasty cold weather with all the salt and crap!

Same here! You think you have it bad where you are...we have gotten probably almost 4 feet of snow since after xmas! And the snow just keeps coming. We've had a snow storm every week for the past 4 weeks. Each storm bringing at least 6 inches!

I'm actually thinking about taking a weeks vacation and spending some time in Fort Lauderdale prior to going to detail fest!
 
Does anyone know if you have to stay two nights to have the discounted price. Im trying to book for the 26th only and it is saying the group rate isnt available.

I guess its possible the hotel reserved a certain number of group rate rooms and there all full.
 
Can I just buy the $25 DF pack and not have to enter a car so I can get the other stuff?

Just call the Courtyard Stuart directly at 772-781-3344 and give them the PBME rate code.
I just booked for Saturday night only and it was no problem at all.
We were just at the hotel for the training classes and they are extremely friendly and it is a great place to stay.
 
Yea its a nice place with friendly staff. Ive stayed there a few times. I just called and the staff member I spoke with was having computer issues and would call me back. Glad to know you dont have to book both nights, thanks for the response.
 
I'm really getting pumped up for DF. I have been reading post from so many of these people for years and now I'm going to meet them face to face. This is going to be the highlight of my vacation year!!!
 
Adam I look foward to meeting you. I will be bringing down my shop manager and somehow I convinced Pat to ride with us! Never met Pat in person yet should be fun!

Just talked to our rep Ashley Edwards there and they are making some room for us as we speak, if you need to book a room you can call directly to her at 772-781-3344. Tell her you are with the Autogeeks and she promises to do her best to fit you in!
 
Megan, can I assume that we will operating in compliance with the International Fire Pit Association (IFPA) rules? Specfically,
rule 3(1)(a) which states: "whatever happens at the fire pit stays at the fire pit".

maybe they add some bunk beds in the convention room, since we all will come it late to sleep and back to AG early the following morning.

Well yes, that is the way it's done every year, I believe at the fire pit is where I got the Mothers Shirt off the Mother's employee's back! So that is like Vegas, it happens out there, it stays out there! :laughing:
