Detail Fest 2012 Photos

Heres some photos guys. I would love to tell my story of the amazing time I had with a great bunch of friends but out of time so I made it quick. The best part of DetailFest is hanging out with some of the best people I've had the pleasure of knowing.

I have to apologize I have very few photos of the full process. Just a couple from a few parts of my preparation as I was strapped for time and barely anything at the show for the same reason. A few good ones though.


Taped off the paint before applying 3 coats of 303 HTFG with each coat allowed to dry before the next. The final coat was allowed to dry overnight before I covered the fabric and moved to my next process.

2nd or 3rd coat still wet

Dremel and Optimum Metail Polish OHHH I wish I had a before!!

Oh WAIT! Heres a 50/50 on the other side. The end is polished first pass and the other dull area hasn't been yet

This one was after I polished the hood I think

This one was after I polished the open areas of the passenger side and the lid and the corner of the rear bumper

3" HT pads on the Flex PE-14 FTW!

let me just say that - as always - it is the crew at Autogeek and the returnee buddies that make this show sooooo much fun. i really enjoy coming and as long as i am invited i will be returning. thanks for all the great pictures - Michelle is not best pleased with me that such a facial expression has been allowed out in public BUT she assures me that it was something about me that she is reacting to. > however - carnauba is gooooood... 8)

Thanks for sharing Corey that's the one thing we forgot to do was take a lot of pictures glad you and Bill did I don't even have any pictures of the bar we set up behind Skybaby or the empty containers lol .
