Detail Fest Classes 2013

Here's a few...

Megs - M101 and/or M100

Lake Country - New Pad Tech

Rupes - Bigfoot(s) or is that bigfeet?

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I'd love to here a little bit by one of the manufacturers on what it takes to bring a new product to market. From the original idea, to lab tests, real world testing, to manufacturing, even what goes into designing the label. Maybe a little of the back story on some of the products development. I'd be interested to know how someone would go about bringing a new line to market and some of what's involved - no proprietary secrets of course - just an outline of what goes on.

We all use these products, but know very little what is in them, where they came from, and how they came to market. I bet there is some interesting stories there.

Maybe something like how Fuzion came to be from the idea, to the lab work, to testing (and failures), to the final product, to manufacturing it reliably, then designing a label, and a little in what goes into pricing. Or, maybe the whole Wolfgang line. Just thinking aloud.

You need to take a tour of the AG facility during Detail Fest. You are coming to Sunny south Florida for Detail Fest?
Max personally does the tours and describes the process, products, research, testing, design, marketing, packaging, distribution, shipping and much more.
Very interesting and informative tour about about the facility and many of the items in the PBMG/AG product line!

I'll be there. Keep my eye out for a tour. Thanks!

There are usually multiple tours over the two days. You just need to check on times when you get there. It is not that formal except they may ask to identify what time you want.

I know AG is working hard on it to assure you get the most from Detailfest. I know I will be assisting Jason Rose from Meguairs with a class on a simple but important subject, washing. My part will be about Rinseless and waterless washing.

Hey!

Thought you were going to call me? Plenty of time to chit chat on the forum but no love for Mikey?

Give me a call!

:D

A greatly overlooked option with many detailers, but it is a "tool" just like any other in our arsenal.

Mike, my bad. Got home late last night and today I'm having the wonderful experience of jury selection. I hope my "question authority" shirt doesn't keep me from being picked! I'll call ASAP.

William, I agree. I am not 100% waterless. It's just another tool.

I thought classes were going to be posted today, did AG forget?
Did not forget but not to point fingers but we had a last minute add on aka Joe, no rush on the classes they will get posted once we have them all locked in. I don't want to post them until the info is precise! :props:

That is an awesome shirt!
