Detail Fest Time!

My cousin and I will be there tomorrow and he's from Canada. But I'm the detailing nut. Not him. He does like to keep his car immaculate though (He washes, I polish and then he waxes). Not sure if you want to count that!;)

All right cool.
Maybe next year I'll go if I can find someone who's willing to go with me.

Folks, DO NOT miss this next year!

I know that I speak for every forum member who attended today when I say "Thank you" to Max and everyone who made Detail Fest possible. This is a first class event.

Not your average weekend car show/detail meet, it is obvious that Autogeek spends months on the planning, logistics and coordination of Detail Fest. Mostly, the plain old hard work required to pull this off is impressive. (Meghan, get some sleep! And, yes that is a compliment! LOL!)

If you're concerned about getting your money's worth, fuggetaboudit! We received so many free products that both an Autogeek box and a Griot's bag were required to haul away the swag. Then the individual manufacturers also kick in some great samples. I'm guessing that I'm $150 in the black on the day.

Hey, free stuff, what's not to like? But that's not the best part of DF. I talked with friends that I see maybe only once a year. I met for the first time some "old friends" that I've known on the forums for years.

I had a chance to speak with people from about a dozen different auto care products companies... owners, inventors, chemists. DF is like a grad school seminar in detailing.

And the cars... WOW!

Thanks again, guys. I really enjoyed it.

:iagree: Except for the cars part, only because I spent so much time talking to people and didn't get to check out any cars present. Great meeting people, putting faces to names, and picking up so much information. I enjoyed the tour and the fact that Max knows what goes on right down to labeling and packaging. He really seems so involved with his company. The couple of people that I actually met from Auto Geek were really nice people. The vendors were great as well. Looking forward to tomorrow with hands on time and hopefully meeting more people. Thanks Max and everyone at Auto Geek for all the hard work that was poured into this event!

I'd wish I could make it.
One of these days, though :D
Have fun everybody. It looks like a well-planned event. I'm jealous!

Had an awesome day thank all of you for coming out! Looking forward to today!

It was indeed another special event, and the 5th was just as unique as the past 4. I cannot fathom what comes next !

Thanks again to Max and his awesome crew only way to sum it up.It was a hell of a weekend !!!!

Really terriffic! Great meeting all of you.

I new I would have a good time but it was even better then I expected. Thanks a bunch to the vendors I met and spoke with, the AG members I got to spend some time with and of course our wonderfull hosts Max and the entire AG crew. I'm looking forward to next year already.

Thanks to Max for the personal tour of AG and to talk for a little bit. Would also like to thank Meghan, Jason, Matt, Mike, Killr, and Ed for getting to hang out and talk with all of you, lots of of fun. Also got to meet a lot of members from the forum which was nice to put faces to names, all in all the weekend was a blast.

Would like to thank Max and his amazing staff at AG for another great DetailFest. We have no clue what goes on behind the scenes, how hard they work and the hours they spend before and after to put together an event like this. And I'd like to send a special THANK YOU to Max for giving them the resources to get it done. The small registration fee is well worth the advice, recommendations and product demos but the friends we make and the friends we have at AG are priceless. GREAT JOB AG.!!!!!!!!!

I'd also like to say thanks to CEE DOG for taking the time to explain in detail to me the list of products and procedures he used to make his Saturn Sky Turbo absolutely perfect. Beautiful car CEE DOG and thanks again.
