Yup, not to mention time of driving. I plan on getting down there a few days early so we can sit at the pool at the Marriott and chill out in the sun and enjoy quiet for a few days.

Not really- most flights look like around $350/pp
I'd still rather pay for my husband and I to fly down than drive... that exceeds my distance limit for wanting to drive.

Yeah $ thats what I've been seeing too. Thanks for confirming.

Driving down for a little show-n-shine in person is very tempting. Once you clear DC, driving south on I-95 isn't so bad INMO. I can make it from PA to Charleston, SC no problem. Driving north through NJ/NY/CT/MA on the other hand, is the worst.

IMHO the absolute worse is around Washington DC on 95. I'd rather driver through the Isis Compound in Iran in my car with the roof down.
 
I've been thinking about driving down. I'm upstate NY. Yeah I know, it's crazy. I absolutely hate flying. I thought about driving my Honda Pilot but it's more gas friendly to drive my DD Honda Accord. My wife thinks I should fly. If I do fly I'm not paying the insurance bill that month. I'll end up using a lot of QD on the way there and back. LOL

Haha. What gets me is the number of drivers cutting each other off. I've never seen it so consistently bad as it is on the DC beltway.
 
My parents want to come to Florida if I go. Is there anything in stuart or would ft Lauderdale or Miami be a better place to get a hotel so they have something to do. Has anyone been to Stuart?
 
It's an incredible show. PBMG are great hosts.

PA/DC folks may be better off coming down 81
