Are those 8 piston calipers, Gary?

The brakes are 8 piston Brembo brakes. They definitely stop the car quick.

Nice detail on the wheels Gary...very clean....calipers and suspension is also spotless...plus those wheels are Awesome...love the black ...

question Gary..does the Lambo use synthetic or the high temp silicone fluid in the brake system....curious ..as i am thinking of purging my system and doing either one of the fluids...I was told less water retention from condensation and also less wear on hydraulic components....

AL, I have never had to add brake fluid or bleed the brakes yet. At 1,500 miles Lamborghini changed all the fuilds on the car. The brake fuild spec is ATE Super Blue Racing Dot. 4 The brake fuild is a synthetic and NOT SILCONE based. Thank you for your nice comments.

Holy Toledo! Gary that's awesome! Detail on brake, wheels and wells.:applause:

That looks soooooo good Gary. It motivated me to see what I could do with the calipers on my wifes car. I just ordered a "G2" caliper paint kit. It comes in about 10 different colors. Hers gets a gloss black.

Thanks Gary...The Dot 4 synthetic was my first choice....and Thats what I will use...it is not that I have speed heat...lol..in my truck....I have load braking heat..

Al

Thanks sparkie!

Jimmie, my brother just painted the brake calipers on his 350Z with a kit. He said it came out good but I have not seen it yet.

I know what you mean AL. When I pull and car and trailer with my F150 I could really use some more braking power. The trailer has electric brakes but the brakes on the pickup are not very good when you are pulling a lot of weight.

Don't worry Gary, I won't spill any food in your wheel wells :). I love how your suspension and brakes are looking very clean.

Are those coilovers (shock/strut assembly) stock with ride height adjusting capabilities from the factory that way?

Dan the strut/coils on the car are stock. The black wheels are not.

Yup, that is all stock (besides the wheels as Gary said). Lambo's are sweet.

I'm looking at purchasing a 1991 Lamborgini Diablo, the vehicle is in great shape and only 9,000 kilometers. Really good price and I love the curves/shape of the vehicle. I'll post pictures when the deal goes through. Such raw power, hardly any computer components...I mean it dosen't even have power steering. I have a test drive booked on the Lambo and two other vehicles that I'm interested so depeding how the test drive goes I might purchase it....not sure yet though.

Nica, I love the looks of the Diablo as well. I do like the interior much better on the later models espeically the 6.0. With all it's carbon fiber and wrap around dash it's really sweat. The Diablo roadster is also very nice.

Yup, I totally agree Gary. The person I'm dealing with has the 1991 Diablo, 2006 Gallardo and a 2006 Ferrari Spider. I booked a test drive for all three and I'm leaning towards the 1991 Diablo. The body style compared to the other two is much better. The interior is incredable, the seats are sweet. I sat in it and it totally grips your body oh and yes the dash is something else. I was blown away the shape this vehicle is in. For the longest time I wanted a Ferrari and I'll test drive it but the Lambo stole the attention.

Oh one thing I noticed too is that Lambo's seem to be much superior, component wise compared to the Ferrari...found this very interesting. I did a spec comparison with the Ferrari and Lambo and the Lambo is much supperior. Like I said I found this intersting but at the same time sad because I love Ferrari's.
