Detail log

Thank you sir. I've actually been using this site and was even updating some stuff this morning. Have these changes you mentioned already been promoted? And what is the purpose of the product database?

I just do detailing as a side job but this tool is still pretty cool and super easy to navigate.

Thanks again

Yes, everything has been posted and is currently live.

The product database is so you can enter what steps you performed on your details and what products you used.

The information will also be used later to be able to search for details by product used, as was talked about earlier in the thread.

crap, sorry guys... someone was trying to log in as demo. I had created the account a while ago (to reserve the name) but kept it inactive so it couldnt be used. i just re-activated the account, so you can try again. sorry. :)

I guess I'm only a year late, but I came across your site today and was shocked. Ever since I started detailing I've looked for something like this. Great site and great idea! Keep me (or this thread) posted to any new additions/changes, thanks!

Welcome to the new users... When the site was launched there were quite a few people that signed up and some good initial feedback which I implemented. Since then however, registrations have slowed significantly and there has been no feedback in a year. As a result there has not been any updates and I never got started on the community aspects of the site.

From analyzing the traffic, it appears people are having trouble understanding the workflow of creating a customer, then a car, then adding a detail each time that customer returns. I have played around with a few ideas for streamlining this process, but none that have made it into production yet.

It will stay online in its current form and will always remain free to use. There are some users with hundreds of records in the system, but a most people have only entered a few (or none at all) and have not returned in quite some time. I welcome any feedback from new users and any one who is still using it, and if there is still demand then I will continue development on it.
