This car was brought to me after speaking to the owner and not really sure what I could do with it as the back portion of the car was pretty bad and definitely shows its age. The car is not 100% perfect but definitely a night and day difference.

  • Wheel wells and barrels were cleaned with APC 1:10
  • Wheels were hit with Meguiars wheel brightener.
  • Entire car was clay barred using Clay Magic’s blue clay
  • Various sections required using Lake Country’s purple hybrid foamed wool pad, along with an orange, black, white, and blue finishing pad.
  • Meguiars M105 & M205 were used to correct the finish on the paint.
  • Menzerna SIP was used on the B-pillar as it finished down a little better.
  • It was polished and sealed using ShowroomFX crystal black
  • All rubber was dressed with ShowroomFX.

The front half of the car had been repainted by the owners friend. The hood scoops were left wetsanded with out being polished.

The owner was surprised at how this came out and didn't expect there to be any shine to it at all:

Nice... reminds me of my mothers old car. Geez that Polo Green looks nice when it's nice and shiney

Brian, you did a great job on that Camaro! Too bad about the back bumper, but you made it look as good as it possibly could. Congrats.

Ha! Thanks, Bob! I usually take the time to do it prior but there are times I'm in a rush and forget to include the process. I figure I'll sleep when I'm dead so for now it's :buffing:

Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks, Richy! Yeah the bumper had a ton of stress cracks in the clear but I think I exceeded his expectations for his budget.
