This is a detail I did late last summer, needless to say it was the last full detail I did on my car last year. Just got it's weekly cleaning from there on out. I'm new here, so I figured I'd show some work.

Wash:
-Meguiar's Gold Class (Double Bucket Method)

Clay:
-Meguiar's

Polish:
-Poorboy's SSR2.5 with The Edge Green Pad, speed 5
-Poorboy's SSR1 with The Edge Blue Pad, speed 4-5

Wax:
-Meguiar's #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax

Tires:
-NXT Insane Shine (Looks great for about a day, then it's just an oily dust magnet.)

Trim:
-Mother's B2B
-Poorboy's BnB

Windows:
-Rain-X
-Stoner's IG

Wheels:
-Meguiar's Chrome Wheel Cleaner

Interior:
-Meguiar's QID
-APC where necessary
-Blue Magic Two-Step Leather Care System (Cleaner/Conditioner)
-Vacuum

Engine:
-Simple Green where needed
-Armor-All Original

Looks good. Especially the engine! It looks really clean.

Looking nice. You should try the DP tire gel, works a lot better!!

Looks really clean, looks like you take good care of your vehicle. I like the engine, nice and clean.

HighEndDetail - I used a cheap, off-brand tire foam by the name of "No-Touch." Sprayed the foam in, wiped it out.

ltoman - I like it. Makes my color pop, it's hard to tell by the pictures. I think it offers more pop and depth than reflectivity - That's fine because my car is a sliver/champagne color, and those don't offer great reflections anyway.

BILL - It worked just fine... I polished my car for the first time last spring, had never been polished before that. It removed the existing swirls just fine with the SSR2.5.

Nica - Thanks. I dare you to try to find another 18 year old that takes care of their vehicle like I do... Probably won't find one. Haha

:iagree:
with you buddy, teenagers now a day rather spend there time doing "other" things. Funny though, because at that age I maintained my 1982 Toyota Tercel like crazy. Surprisingly no rust on it and it was a silverish color, the engine area was always clean and the inside spotless. Back then all I did was just wax, I didn't know how to properly care for the paint so I thought I was detailing properly. Wish I would have learned sooner but I'm 27 now and off to a good start.

Well done my friend :applause: you did an amazing job at your vehicle. Keep it up.

Thanks all.

Nica - Yeah, i've worked my ass off for this car, I'm going to take the best care of it that I can.
