2002 Viper ACR

I have not had much time for detailing lately I finally had a chance to pull the wheels off the Viper I purchased after Christmas. The car is in great shape but the original owner never cleaned the wheel wells or inside of the wheels.

Wheels
1. Cleaned with P21s Wheel Cleaner
2. Klasse AIO
3. Wolfgand Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Wheel Wells & Suspension
1. Cleaned with Poorboy's Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner & Simple Green
2. Klasse AIO
3. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

After Pics:

Here are a few befores takin after spaying the wheels and wells with P21s and washing them the best I could when the wheels were still on the car.

I hope to get a chance to polish the car soon. :)

Now that is detailing. You made those areas look new, especially that wheel. It's fun to follow your progress on your Viper.

Great job Gary. Makes me want to go out in the garage now and take my wheels off.

Thanks everyone! I look forword to having some time to polish the car.

sweet looking.

Did you get any added horsepower after cleaning them :D :D :D :D

Ed, I didn't gain any HP but the car's lighter now that I removed a couple of pounds of dirt. ;)

Thanks Surfer, I did purchase a new center cap for one of the wheels. When I pulled the wheels off most of the tabs were broken on one of the caps.

WOW!...super work Gary. Don'cha just hate to drive the car afterwards knowing more dirt is accumulating? J/K

Those tires definitely fall into the "big toy" category.

So Gary when are you going to do the rest of the car?

Toto, when the weather's bad I always take the dirtiest car. Good thing it's sunny most of the time in south Florida. The tires are very wide 335/30 18's on the back.

So Gary when are you going to do the rest of the car?

sparkie, I hope to fine time to polish it next weekend. I did the interior today but I ran out of time to take pictures. The interior was very clean but I did wash everything anyways and put some Connolly hide care on the leather. I just need to clean the interior windows and it will be spotless. The interior is like new.

The P21s Wheel Cleaner took all the baked on brake dust and dirt off after applying it twice and using a brush on the inside of the wheels after letting it soak in for a minute or so. I don't know if the inside of the wheels were ever cleaned before. The car is 6 years old with 4,900 miles on it. P21s wheel cleaner is good stuff.
