Loved doing this car the clear coat was a breeze to correct, seems like it was very soft, wet sanded all deep clear coat scuff/scratched

Products/process--EXTERIOR:

--Washed with C.G CW&G via foam cannon (first wash)

--Washed down with C.G CW&G via AG pro wash pail with grit gaurd (sheep skin mit)

--Amazing roll off to wheels and tires

--Separate pail for wheel wash/tire scrub

--Clayed with Wolfgangs poly clay/Optimum clay lube

--wet sanded scuffs with 1500 grit then with 2000 grit--then polished out with Menzerna SIP with orange pad. Amazing results

--Menzerna SIP with White PAD via PC 7424

--Alcohol wipe down

--Menzerna NANO with Grey PAd via PC 7424

--Alcohol wipe down

--Wofgangs DGPS, let cure for 12hrs

--Topped with Pinnacle Souveran paste wax

--sealed wheels with Poor boys wheel sealant

--Tires with Extreme shine

Interior did not need detailing was spotless!

Very nice correction. I own an Inf. G also but mine is the coupe and I enjoy working on it's paint because the results are very rewarding as you have found out.

The car turned out looking excellent! My favorite picture is the one of the hood. It really shows how shiny the paint turned out. Was the PC the only polisher you used or did you use a rotary after sanding?

I found the clearcoat to be really soft. I only used the PC 7424. The Menzerna SIP/NANO played a big part in bringing this beast back to life!

Bubba you did an awesome job!

BTW, It's my car and the tips are just fine.

:iagree: That's why they call it DETAILING!
You guys are right however he was asked to do the paint, wheels and tires. I will take care of the exhaust with a replacement CB.
Not to offend but do you guys do work for free that you are not asked to do. If so, I will gladly NOT pay you to detail my car(s)?

Uh, the tips still need attention. Point taken though. Very nice work.

Excellent job!! Looks great!! I love the G35.

I think thats the first time I have read of someone wiping the car down with alcohol after each step prior to sealing and waxing. Do you find it makes a difference, and how?

All it really does is preps the suface for next step (polish/seal/wax), is it necessary? No
