Wash and Wax - 02 F-150 Supercrew Red - EHUTH1

Man if I could sum up the experience I had to day in two words it would be "Time Saver"

I have to admit the new foam gun (A MUST HAVE) from Justin "Clean 4 U" is truly a mobile detailers pride and joy!! I picked mine up in person from Justin yesterday. It was my first time meeting him in person, and he is truly a professional in all aspects of his trade. Thanks again for taking time to meet me!

Lets start this detail right!! I had some of Justin's new mix of foam but I used it in a experiment on a Saturn, so this wash is with 2 cap fulls of DG901 mixed with 30oz of water.
  • Craftsmen Clean-n-Carry with 50ft of hose
  • (Clean4U) Foam Gun (Lance) with 32oz bottle
  • Turbo Tip for rinsing

This was just way to much fun. I had a few neighbors just staring like "what the hay?"

Ok after the the foam soaked for 5 minutes, it was going to be time to see if the DG would take care of the Tree Sap and dirt without me having to breakout the scmitt and use any agitation!! I'm here to say this was looking G uuuu D !! I sprayed the truck off with the turbo nozzle and this thing is crazy powerful!! Make sure you stand back away from the vehicle and be sure to turn the pressure washer down. I'm use to the long lance on a regular trigger gun, so I got surprised a few times went I wouldn't be thinking and reach in front of the turbo nozzle "OUCH"!!! It felt like 4 paintballs hitting me in the hand.... NOTE: Get use to the short trigger gun :)

Next Step was to dry the truck down and I did this with some new stuff I've been trying. It quickly breaks the water and makes it move faster to speed up the drying. If you notice my towel, it's spotless (NO DIRT!!!) I couldn't believe it, but I had to stay focused and finish this thing up :)

After deciding what to with this truck after I realized I just saved 15min on the job. I took a quick break :D

I used a new degreaser "The Brown Stuff" on the wheels, wells, and tires that too is simply amazing and I don't have to touch to clean.

Next it was time clay some trouble spots with megs smooth clay kit and then lay down some XMT360 via Orange CCS Pad and finalize things with Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax since it was red and everyone knows Pinnacle + Red = Amazing. Here are some problems I had to face in the beginning... Since this was just a wash and wax, I didn't get all the bugs out, but it turned out better than I predicted.

This was about 2 Hour marathon just to see if I could save time and still prove positive results in paying attention to detail. I hope everyone enjoys this and gets their chance in owning a PW foam gun.

Works great !! Thanks for sending up the brochures and helping us out by developing this foamer that works wonders.

Can't wait. Got one coming.
Wow, XMT360 got rid of all those swirls. Truck looks great. That red is dripping wet.

That is the craziest foam I've ever seen! Like a SNOWSTORM blew over that car!

And what is "The Brown Stuff" you were talking about? And where did you get that blue towel from?

I'm really impressed.

Just so I'm not fooling myself, you didn't "hand wash" the truck at all???? You just used the foam gun, let sit, rinsed, then dried???

If so, that's incredible!

Overall, the truck looks amazing! Nice work!

I have the same question!!!!!!!

That's quite the foam gun...may need to PM Mr. Justin.

The truck looks good, I like the way the paint seems to glow..question what tire dressing did you use? The tires loog really good.

Thanks for sharing.

The brown stuff is a new degreaser I'm trying from a company in GA. This stuff cleans like crazy without touching the wheels with a brush and also doesn't harm the wheels. The "blue" towel is a $6 drying towel from Wally-World. These are my backups and they work dang good! they cover half of this trucks hood when layed out.

so about the foam.....Did you not wash the truck.....you just let the foam do all the work.

I let the foam do the work on this one. I don't recommend this on heavily soilded surfaces, but this truck was dusty / bugs / and lots of tree sap. The DG901 removed it all!! When I removed the soap the pressure washer fan spray took care of the dirt on the rocker panels, so then I proceeded to quick detailer and dried. Notice my blue towel it doesn't have any dirt clogged or showing. The surface dried spot and streak free.

wow...is this the foam gun that AG sells....if not how much and where did you get it?

Thanks for the info!

One more question. The standard flat-pattern spray nozzle that Justin sends with these foam guns, can it be easily used w/o the bottle? Example: After you're done spraying with foam, can you quickly detach the bottle and just spray with water only for rinsing? I don't want something that is a PITA to switch for when I want water only.

Also, does the "turbo" nozzle that you have on there spray in a flat pattern? If so, where did you buy it and how much, if you don't mind me asking.

I just want to make sure it's an easy process to change from foam gun to pressure washer (water only). Thanks for any info!

Get with Justin, he can set you up with a 1/4" quick disconnect on your trigger gun if you order the full setup. I use a fan sprayer nozzle and turbo nozzle both have 1/4" quick disconnect couplings. You can swap out on the fly if your changing tips, but you can't on swap out on the fly if you decide to use your other complete trigger assemblies (stock pressure gun). It's saving time and money on my water and soap use, so I'm very pleased with it. I have 3 more wash and vacs to post tonight... All FOAM GUNNED !

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely hit up Justin!

I can't wait to check out your other foam gun details!
