I've just landed a deal to do 6 agents with a local Coldwell Bankers agency. This one of the top agents SUV's. It has 100k+ on it but was fairly clean on the inside. This one also gave me a chance to try out and review 2 of the new Collinite product that I recieved. Her and I both were pleased with the outcome.

Here's what it got....
Detail Date:
10/13/2006
Start Time:
9:00AM
Finish Time:
3:00PM
Price:
300.00

Washed with Meguiar's NXT Car Wash
(Used Wash ShMitt.....now 2 months old and used on 70+ vehicles)

Collinite's No. 840
Pre-Wax Cleaner

(EDGE2K Experimental Soft Yellow Pad at a #5 PC setting)
Since the paint was white and the customer didn't want a full swirl removal, I decided to use this pre-wax cleaner. The smell was of a chemical and the feel was not gritty at all. This led me to believe that this product works chemically instead of abrasively. This turned out to be true. I removed every contaminent that there was on the paint. Tar, bugs, and oxidation came off. It took some time but worked. I might could have used a more aggressive pad but I didn't want to take to much time. Went on easy and came off just as. The sun made it a tad hard to remove on certain areas.

Collinite's No. 845
Insulator Wax

(EDGE2K Blue "Wave" Finishing Pad at a #3 PC setting)
The customer is going to have me clean this vehicle every week so it made for the perfect candidate for a durability test. We have all heard of 845's long lasting shell so we all gonna find out! You MUST put this on thin. I put the hood's coat on to thick and was hard to take off.....yet another trait of this wax. Smell was chemically and felt oily but what do you expect for a wax made for the long haul? I did the whole ride and let haze for 15 minutes. Came off easy by hand and left an unexpected shine! Depth was nice too. If holds up to it's legend, this might be a hit. Looks were above my expectations. AutoGeek has done good here bringing a legend aboard.

As usual Justin, awesome job!! You made that WHITE shine!! Thanks for the great review on Collonite. The price is definitely great on those products. Now, so many decisions.......MaxWax (thumbs-up from you), PS Liquid wax (easier on my wallet than paste), PB NB (which I have and love), and now Collonite 845!
The contrast between the shiney tires, and white paint is great. Makes the White paint "pop" even more.

Dressing ShMitt? White polishing pad on both sides? Looks kinda large for interior. How did you use it?

Your patented "stripes" on the mats.......done by alternating directions with Extractor? Love the effect.

Sheesh man, 300 bucks is a really good price for you. You rock Justin! lol

very nice. I like the idea of that cleaner. Sounds like a perfect agent to use after claying ot remove anything the clay didn't fully get.

Ill definately look into some of that!

P21S makes a citrus based cleaner for use on heavily mudded and dirty cars. I have found it works well as one step in properly prepping a neglected car. Also found a couple squirts of Poorboys Bug Squash in your soap does something very similar.

Awesome job Justin! White is a tough color to make glow, but you made it deep and wet. Thanks for mentioning the prices, that will teach me to charge $50 for a 5 hours detail. I'm jacking up my prices!!!

I give a 50.00 discount off of a full detail with a bi-weekly commitment.......100.00 off if it's a weekly deal. This was a weekly deal so it would have been 400.00. I'll make 50.00 per week so I'll easily make it back.
I use 1 cup of Purple Power per 2 gallons of wash water to help with white cars. Better than Dawn to me and not as harsh. Thanks guys for all the compliments.
BTW, I loved the Dressing ShMitt. Held a ton of liquid and let it out when I needed it.

looks very very good, im in the middle of doing my own white car right now and id be surprised if it looked that good when done... but its old so i have an excuse;)

out of curiosity what did you use to clean and dress the wheel wells? they were pretty damn dirty. and how do you figure your prices, i have a price list for friends and members of floridagerman(car site) but i need to make one up for other unknown customers.pm if you want...

That's all that it's gonna get it on it.

I use Purple Power. Really good stuff. 9.98 for 2.5 gallons. I use that and my pressure washer. Make sure you let it sit for a few minutes though to soak up. Then I use Armor All's Tire Foam. It really cleans and shines. I make sure to wipe up anything left with a dedicated MF mitt.

Awesome work!! as always Justin...:applause:

They really need a stainless exhaust on that truck...and some quality floor mats to catch all the dirt and keep it off their carpet..

The 845 looks Great, I need to get some. I'm lovin the 476 paste.....:awesome:

Yeah, this body style has some deep pile carpet making it hard to clean......and keep clean. I've got some 476 paste to try as well.

Thanks bro for the comments!

for heavily soiled mats, use the pressure washer.....its disgusting what comes out! just be careful cause some mats cant take the up close power...

anyways i was almost hoping youd say you used a PW on the wheel wells, i couldnt imagine having to brush it or anything and just was curious what your method was
