I cannot believe your customer said that car was "pretty clean" That thing was a mess! You really had your work cut out for you on that one and you made it look as good as new! The Souveran makes the trees look like they're growing out of the car! Awesome work Justin. I love the technique of using the shmitt on the interior detail. I never thought of that before. I always use Woolite and water and a spong or MF for interior details and I can see how the shmitt would save tons of time. Thanks for passing that technique along. I'll definitely use that one. :applause: Oh, can another fabric softner be used besides Snuggle? I always buy Suavitel. I like the fragrance of that one better than Snuggle and I don't have any pets so if I did have to remove hair it would just be a customer's car. That's a great tip. Thanks for sharing it. :cheers:
 
Very nice!! The Pinnacle twins worked well. Interior looks great now. Souveran on the dash gave that wood a nice rich glow. Thanks for the tips on pet hair.

Sure. All softeners have anti static properties. I like the added scent left by this process.

I'm telling you, the Wheel ShMitt cut my leather cleaning time in half! Made it so easy! Worked awesome on the door panels too.

Next week it get's tried on mats!
 
Wheel ShMiTT works great, but we do make an interior ShMiTT just for that purpose that is the Yellow foam on one side, and the soft White on the other. The Yellow is just coarse enough to scrub all interior surfaces, and it shows the dirt comming off on the yellow so its easy to know when to rinse it, unlike the black that we made to take off brake dust and we did not want it to show black brake dust which stains the white and the yellow badly. The soft white side on the back is nice to apply leather conditioner or dressing to seats and dash. The origonal wheel and interior mitts were flat foam but many people said they did not squish easy enough and were hard to bend and get into alot of tight spots, so we changed all the mitts to the wave waffle texture.

Justin, tell me more about using Soveren on the wood dash bits. I've tried several things on mine and I don't know what is best. The wood has a thick layer of what I assume is polyurethane (sp?) so using wood proc\ducts like pledge seems pointless. In fact I have tried pledge. Now I use PN Natural look with the rest of the dash. what does using a carnuba wax do?

That Jag is the same color as mine. I'm kind of bummed you used Soveren. It looks so darn good I may have to make the plunge and buy some. It's so expensive!

This one took 4 hours and cost 250.00. I gave a discount for using me so much. This was before seeing it was hair infested! Oh well. Still was fun making it completely turn around!

I used Souv to give it a nice glow and finish for the interior pieces. And to just say I did!!! Not many other detailers take the long time (lol! 5 minutes!) needed to do this little step.

I'm telling you, get Souveran. It's 80.00 but if used only on one to two cars, it will last you forever!!!
