I also did a wash n vac on the Jag XJ8 in the background (other thread). 8 hours all together. Long day and I'm tiredddddddddddd. I have a Saab 9-3 tomorrow.

WOW what a awesome job. That is a beautiful car, I always love Jags. The reflection shot is remarkable.

5 min or so. The clear was hardddddddddddddd. That's why I mentioned I'm purchasing a Metabo soooooon. I would say about 90% of swirls were gone. There were a lot of little little scratches everywhere.

Yeah, I figured thats why you are getting the rotary. Youve come a long way in a very short time. Congrats.

Great job Greg !! 6 Hours aint bad for that vehicle, you did alot of work !! The reputation from that one customer should open doors to more of those vehicles by the look of the neighborhood. Very nice turnaround!! Good job on the upgrades too.

That car went from flat looking to beatiful. Good job. Enjoyed your write up. Thank you.

I dont know how you guys get this done so fast. It takes me about 1-2 hours to wash and clay. Then 2-3 hours for polish and wax. Interior takes me 3-5 hours. So usually about 10 hours per car.

I'm going to be doing that Lexus SUV in the background Sunday. Also the Saab I'm doing tomorrow is in the same neighborhood.

Great job Whitethunder, I agree you turned that vehicle from just a regular jag and gave it a very nice make over...she looks all purty now.

That was done fast too, I was going to ask how was the clear coat on that thing. Ceramic clear coats are a pain but you sure worked your voodoo dude.

Nice write up to. You will be very pleased with the Metabo, specially for long use. Your hands/body will thank you for it.

Awesome work. Whew 6 hours..you must have been moving....:righton:

Great looking...

Just to mention it, heard from some detailers in Norway that the paint is "strange" on the new Saab`s, some have got problems when detailing them, dont know what, but may be softer paint. Just so you know (they used rotary).

Beautiful work, Greg! I love Jaguars! Love the reflection shot and interior.

Nice work on the Jag, I bet you are glad you are getting warmer weather up there in Ohio.
And six hours is not all that bad. As you do more and more details you will learn to do things a little faster.
