As you can tell from the title, this was the biggest restoration I've done to date. It's red with a ton of oxidation. This was yet another referral. The customer is about to sell this vehicle so he wanted it extremely clean. He has over 10k in mods to it. 329HP to the wheels on pump gas; 389WHP on 104 octane! This was the first time I got a tip before I even started on a vehicle.

Here's what it got:
(Actually took some before shots!)

NXT Tech Wash
(Clayed while during the wash cycle)

Meguiar's #80
(EDGE2K Yellow Pad at #6)
Had to clean this thing out 6 times! And it's double sided!

XMT Machine Glaze
(EDGE2K Orange Pad at #4 setting)

Souveran Liquid Wax-2 coats
(EDGE2K White Pad at #3 setting)

Once again, a tough one. About 5-6 hours on the paint alone. Interior was really clean so no shots of it. #80 took all the oxidation off with one pass and polished out nicely. Again, XMT glaze stole the show giving it the wet depth followed by the gloss of Souveran.
Customer was extremely pleased!

Befores.......

All that money in the car and never ever waxed!

I thought they had a CC as well. Guess I learn something new all the time.

I see you wore flip flops to work today!! :) Great job Justin! That turn around was really something! Awesome job as usual. :)

Amazing job. The half-and-half shot is great. :applause:

Awesome work as always Justin! That car looks really cool, probably the only Mitsu I would ever get.

that job would have paid my mortgage for the month ..... and owner should be shot !!

Looks GREAT! I can't believe the turn around. I'm shocked that it's not CC'ed.

Justin, do you ever tape off areas during your detailing? Just curious.

Justin you are an inspiration too us all. Just great work! I always look forward to your posts. It just show that in the right hands what all these products are capable of doing. JoeD

As always, great work! I love the half & half picture. About your choice of products -Why the souvern ontop of the XMT?

XMT is a glaze. It adds depth, wetness and increased clarity. Souveran on top of XMT is awesome! I used that combo on my mom's car. The XMT helped fill in her swirls and it really gave the car a nice deep clear reflection. Then when I added the souveran on top it was sheer bliss!

The pic is with a 35mm camera so it's lame, but you can see the combo on her hood. Those are the flower wreaths she has decorating her basement wall.

I think i have been at this post 10 times, and i still get impressed each time i view it.

I "borrowed" a picture (the first one) to use it as a reference to MG 80 on a Norwegian forum, I put your name by it, so pretty soon u are famous in Norway to Jason (ehhh..Justin).

If you mind this Jason (ops i did it again.... i mean Justin), let me know and i will remove it.

May I ask what you think about the XMT line from Pinnacle ? I just bought them all along with a PC to try my hand at polishing. Haven't used it yet (except on my white hood). Someone wants me to fix a swirled up mess on a 06 Titan (black). I am thinking that the job could be over my head. The truck was new and he took it to a local DETAILER for a wash and wax and it came back ruined ! He freaked out when he went to get it and they told him they would cut the price for him and they were sorry. This same shop done the same thing to an '06 Tahoe in black. I am not sure if I am confident enough to touch them. I also have a new Cyclo polisher and a Dewalt rotary. Thank you for your time.
