Is there a curing time for the poly-seal if you wanted to follow it with a high end sealant or a carnauba? Any bonding issues that anyone could for see?

Just talked with Dave at Optimum. Poli-Seal was developed for dealerships as a one stepper but has become very popular very quickly. It does contain some carnauba which acts a filler if using as a single step. You do not have to top it with anything but you can immediately if desired. There is no cure time. Put on take off....done. They actually painted right over a panel after using Poli Seal. No wipedown with any solvents. There were no fish eyes so it's body shop safe. There should be no bonding issues at all.

Wow! So is it a wax or a sealant? That's cool that they were able to paint a afterwards! Very interesting!

ha ha Mr. Smartypants! :p I thought it was a one step cleaner, polish and sealant, but after Justin's conversation with the man at Optimum and him saying it has carnauba I'm wondering what it is?

It's a "sealax". Har Har. They call is Poli because of the polymers used and Seal as in seal the paint. We all just assumed sealant I guess. I did. He did say 3 months protection.....easy if washed weekly.

Justin--- thanks for the info and a look at your impeccable work with a new product. The short time you take to accomplish so much is what always amazes me.

The instant cure feature will make Poli-Seal very popular to those that like a carnauba topper and don't want to wait. I'll look forward to trying it when it's available in a 16 or 32 oz. size.

LOL, yal killing me! Mayo
Thanks Justin for the review on Poli-Seal.

It clears pretty fast. This is why I added some Optimum Polish to the mix to get more cut and more work time.
