This is one of five vehicles I did for a customer this week. Car had lots of water spots and fine scratches.

Meguiar's Shampoo Plus Wash
Meguiars' Clay Bar
(While washing.)
Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover 2.0
(EDGE 2000 Yellow Pad at #5)
Meguiar's #7 Glaze
(EDGE 2000 Blue Pad at #3)
Meguiar's #26 Yellow Wax
(2 coats allowed to dry 30 minutes per coat)
(Edge 2000 White Pad at #3)
(Removed with MF bonnet at #5)

WOW!
I've heard of #7 being hot but man, it with #26, deep and wet. I'm even wondering why I would leave Meg's behind....ever.

Layed it all out....LITTERALLY!

Very Very Nice. Great Job as usual. With results like this I don't think you can go wrong with getting more jobs from this up scaled community. Jut word of mouth by customers alone must bring you business. JoeD

He just called me. He has a 30th Anny Corvette for me to do. I didn't even know he had it!

Burgandy with a tan top...convertible.

That color combination should look great when you are done. Looking forward to more pictures. JoeD

Always great Justin! What are the other cars he is going to have you do?? You have a lot of Meguiar's products, even a bag. It looks like they sponsored you or something. Do you use the PC 7424 or G-100?? Keep it up man!

Justin the job looks great! That is such an awesome car; I would gladly work on a piece of machinery like that. Man you must live in a richy place!

Maybe I need to take a road trip to GA and get you to do my car!

G-100. Lifetime warranty and it's the same as the 7336. Only 20 bucks more.

Wish I was sponsored. When I first started out I wanted to use prodcuts that customers knew of and trusted. They are just tried and true. Everytime I think about switching, I pull off a job like this. 6 hours invested in the exterior alone and I knew what each product would do.

Thanks man!
There is alot of wealthy people here cashing in on the mountain building boom. I'll be posting all five of his vehicles later.

Come up here anytime. I'll give you a forum discount!!!

I thought the g-100 was like 260 bucks?! I bought my 7336 for 109. If I found it for 130 I would have bought that one. :) I also use a lot of Meguiar's products, a lot of beginners start with it, and never go anywhere else. They have been in the business for a LONG time, and know what they are doing. Can't wait to see his other cars. Hopefully one is a Ferrari. I love those!!

Gorgeous viper!! Man! Does he let you drive it around the block at least when you're done?? You could do it after washing and telling him it's to guarantee that the water doesn't collect anywhere! ;) I was always a huge fan of #7! I thought nothing could top it, but I tell you I used the XMT finishing glaze on my mom's car this time when I did it and it was so beautiful. I have to try the XMT on my car now to see if I really saw what I think I saw on my mom's! I know what you mean about leaving tried and true products. Meg's is good but the only thing is that you have to be so careful with it to make sure it doesn't accidentally get on any trim. Your pics look great! I can't wait to see the next ones. :)

Justin, what would you typically charge for what you did on the Viper? Looks sweet! One of my favorite cars.

Usually would charge 250.00 but I'm giving him a deal since I'm doing 5.
900.00 for all 5.
Washing bi-weekly for 50.00 per car and waxing once per month for 75.00.
And yeah, he drives the Viper.

It's surprising what wealthy people will pay. I would probably get shot if I said "can I detail your car for $250, or wash your car for $50 in my area! They just take it to the local full service car wash and get it done for $10 or so. Full hand wax $39! You definitely have to have the clientel to bring prices like that. Good for you---it's hard work! Now I know how you can pay for that monster of a pad you have!;)

Marketing is a major key. Believe me, I have those that biotch at my prices...I just say thankyou and walk away.
You just have to go to where the money is. Remember, you have to be a salesman with skills when start a business.

Just show them the picture portfolio:D I used to detail a little on the side and most of my jobs came from word of mouth. That's all I wanted to to was make a little money on the side---full time job, wife, 2 kids, mortgage, daycare, 2 car payments, cr. card debt, utilities, etc., etc., had to make ends meet somehow. It all worked out.....that was in the 90's;) Now I'm getting the bug again....
