So my neighbor asked if I could help get his new used Tacoma ready for a trip up to SC that he is taking. He bought the truck a month or so ago and it's been kept outside without being washed. I forgot to take some before pictures, but the car was really dirty. The rims where really dark grey and we didn't know that his paint was a metallic silver. The car has a lot of burned on water marks and some moderate swirls which I will remove at a later date.

Process:

Exterior
- Sprayed tires, wheel wells and mud flaps with DP Exterior Cleanse-All and agitated with Mother's fender well brush.
- Cleaned rims with DP Gel Wheel Cleaner and OXO brush
- Washed with NXT in foam gun with Shmitt.
- Clayed real quick with Zaino clay bar, car needs some serious claying done. I introduced him to AG and we made a little list of stuff he needs to get so we can take care of his car.
- DP Krystal Vision on windows
- Klasse AIO on windshield
- Klasse AIO on paint
- DP Surface Shield Sealant 12 hr cure time
- Meg's #24
- PB's TR on all trim
- Pinnacle Black Onyx tire gel (one front tire) and AA Extreme Tire gel on the others. Sort of an impromptu durability test.

Interior
- Vacuumed and spot cleaned interior
- Wiped down all surfaces with Meg's QID

Great job. The truck looks super clean. I'm interested to hear how your experiment turns out: "Pinnacle Black Onyx tire gel (one front tire) and AA Extreme Tire gel on the others. Sort of an impromptu durability test". How about looks of the one tire vs the other?

They look similar, but the AA is a little "blingier". It still looks really good though. I wanted to try something different because the Pinnacle is expensive and his tires are huge.

Nice..

You know even though you didnt' do any swirl removing that turned out good. Nice job:applause: . I liked the write up as well. How long did it take you?

I finally started my Volvo this morning and I'm not even close to finishing it. I was in the garage from 10:30AM and just came back in the house at about 7:30PM. I got hungry.

Question though, why did you deside to go with AIO? I have seen the liquid souveran on some silver vehicles and man does that baby make paint POP. I bought some for my SUV, haven't used it just yet but after the Volvo comes the Lexus SUV.

It took about 8 hours because I was playing teacher as well as detailer.

I only used AIO to take off any wax and other stuff that was on the paint before I put on the DP Shield. I didn't use Liquid Souveran because I don't have any. I use Souveran Paste on my car and we just wanted to protect it for the trip to SC. I used the sealent just in case I don't have time to do the swirls for a few months. I told him that he should order so LS because I have heard great things about it on silver, he said he probably will.

Sounds good, 8hrs is not that bad. Sorry I forgot that it was just a protection for the trip.

Thanks for the info, helped me out with the AIO. I really don't know much about this AIO. Need to re-search it some more.

Did you buy any AIO, Nica?

You guys did a nice job on his Tacoma. Too bad there weren't any before pics I have a feeling that they would have been dramatic.

No, not yet. But I'm still re-searching it. I really don't know much about it. I like the all natural stuff, for some reason I don't trust the synthetic stuff. Not sure why, probably because I don't know enough about it that's all.

I tried some AIO yesterday on my van's windows. I wanted to help protect them from bad water spots I'm getting on the van from my sprinkler system. It's to early to tell how good it will work but it left the windows feeling very smooth and slik. I think it should work and it suppose to last 4-6 months. If it works I might even try on my shower doors.

You sound like me last summer. I finally bought some AIO and I've been happy ever since! It is great stuff and a detailers must have product.

Hey reddwarf,
I love testimonials like yours:D . That is how I got hooked in this place. I have always tried to learn from people that have much more experience then me. Reason being that people with experience have gone through "hell" and if they share there experiences well then I can learn from it. That's why I love this place.

I appreciate the feed back and I think I'll have to get it because of its durability. In addition, I'm still fairly new and so far I have only ventured in to the XMT line up and the Souveran oh and Wolfgang and I haven't even touched the others. At first I was trying to stick to one or two brands but I don't think I will be able to do that. This place is full of knowledge and I'm doing my best to absorb lots of it. Just takes me some time that's all. That's the beauty about this, I can take my time and work at my own pace because I'm doing this for me...um...hobby:awesome: .

Everyone loves it, but I have not had an occasion to let it impress me. I used it on my wedding ring, but jewelry cleaner cleaned the diamonds beter.

i used it on the glass of the new van and it was nothing special...
I don't know if it is me or what yet.
Please guys, don't attack me - I am not done giving it a shot yet!!!

Nice job man! Sweet! I see pop! AIO is a great cleaner, it adds to the shine! Outstanding write up. Keep us updated on Pinnacle Black Onyx tire gel (one front tire) and AA Extreme Tire gel on the back. One thing hits me is, you will have more dust on the front.
