Ok. It's been a really busy week. This one was done on Monday. I did 6 wash/vacs on Tuesday and 3 full details for a new client today. I'm wore slap out! This one is owned by the wife of a good client of mine. She's been in Florida for the last month selling their home while he was up here finishing up on their new one. He said that this wouldn't be that bad since it was fulle detailed about 4 weeks ago. Yeah right! There was wax everywhere. The engine bay was untouched. Swirl city was not on the map.......it was on the car! He just wanted it cleaned good since they are going to trade it next week for the new Chrysler Aspen.

By the way, if you see white dots in the pics, that's snow. The high was 41*!!!
God I can't wait till detail fest!!!!

Start Time:
10:00AM
Finsish Time:
3:00PM
Payment:
250.00

Optimum's Poli-Seal (75%) and Polish (25%) Combo
(Used EDGE2K Yellow Cutting Pad at a #5 PC setting)
Since this is just gonna be a trade in, I just wanted to further my experiment of Poli-Polish! This combo has amazing cut and finish down smoother than either of the two alone. There is no dust and no difficulty removing it. There is though depth and a high gloss. This was a single step. No other LSP was used in the detailing of this ride.

Other Products Used:
Meguiars Detailer Line Super Degreaser
(4:1 on engine, tires, and wells)
Meguiars Detailer Line APC
(10:1 on interior sufaces, leather, and mats)
Meguiars Detailer Line Wheel Brightner
(4:1 on wheels. Let sit for 2 minutes per wheel and brushed)
Armor All Tire Foam
(Tires and wells. Let sit for 5 minutes and wiped clean with MF mitt)
Armor All Tire Gel
(Applied with supplied applicator)
Pinnacle's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner
(First time I've used this. Made the leather soft and subtle again. Gave it that nice new-car smell. Also cleaned what the APC didn't. Dry to a matte finish....not greasy at all. The leather was the first thing notice when the customer opened the door! Well worth the price.)

Befores....

That thing looks like a million bucks now. Great job as usual Justin. :applause:

Justin I'm always amazed at the great job and turnarounds you do. Especially considering the time you do them in it's amazing man...........My hat is off to you bro.....
And I understand the cold I live in Asheville NC in the mountains man I want to move back to Atlanta (Marietta or abouts ) area again..........
I hope it warms up for ya bro!!!!!!!
Outstanding job as always!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously!! How do you do these jobs in 3 or 5 hours?! Man, this was one cool combo though... looks great

Looks great man! That snow looks "refreshing". I used to live in Wisconsin as a kid and remember how crisp the air felt and how fresh it smelled. The pictures of the "flurries" brought me WAY back like a time machine----bustin' my ass on the ice! It got in the high 30's here in Central Florida the past few nights......feels awesome!

By the way......glad to see you're wearing jeans now----no more "bumblebee tuna";)

Damn bud...that car looks hot! I love the Caddy CTS. The lines are amazing. That second shot with the reflection of you taking the pic says it all.

Can you provide some info on your engine cleaning technique? Do you just spray the degreaser and then rinse off? Pressure wash at all? Do you use a mitt and brush at all?

Great work as always Justin! I think you were detailing this when I talked to you on Monday!

I'm glad I finally got a chance to talk to you. You seem very down to earth with a lot of useful info!

I've been thinking. Poli-Seal is somewhat a cleaner/sealant/AIO etc. etc. It also makes a very good base for other sealants and/or carnauba's, correct?

Hence, why you have been combining with polish to basically make 2 steps into one. Could I also combine poli-seal with XMT 1? Therefore go straigh from XMT 3, then to the poli-seal and XMT 1 mix, followed by my choice of LSP? Sounds like it would be one hell of a time saver and should turn out great. I'm wandering if it can only be mixed with other Optimum products.

Another great job, Justin. It makes me wanna try Optimum PoliSeal myself.

Justin: I've got some of that Pinnacle Leather Cleaner/Conditioner and haven't used it yet because the BMW Shop owner doesn't like greasy or shiney seats on his cars. It looks like Pinnacle doesn't dry that way. I might give it a shot on this Metallic Gray Bimmer with a black leather interior.

I can't get over your work! You are an artist! Wow Optimum's Poli-seal 75% and Polish 25% done that to the paint! Outstanding!

hey justin,

Maybe I can help you out over the summer for a few weeks! :)

That caddy is looking nice. Great job on one of my favorite cars!
