Got this customer while I was doing my brother's truck on Saturday. The customer goes back and forth to Ohio about twice a month. Lot's of road grime and bugs. Did something a little different on this one.
You'll see what!

Here's what she got....

XMT Carnauba Glaze
(EDGE 2000 Orange Polishing Pad set at 5.5)
Here's what I did that was different...skip any aggressive cutting!
After washing, believe it or not there were just light swirls. So, I wanted to try out XMT's glaze since it says it can remove light imperfections. Boy did it! It, with the orang pad did a wonderful job of cleaning up the paint. Sap and a light stains came out as did any swirls. This is a must-have product.

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
(EDGE 2000 White Finishing Pad set at 3.5)
Still one of the best. Made the pearl pop and left it looking wet and deep.

Also spent some extra time on the wheel wells and engine bay since I didn't have a swirl removal stage. Customer was so glad I did!

Befores....

Very impressive! What APC did you use for the wheel wells???

Purple Power.
Found at Advanced Auto and Wal Mart.
Elbow Grease.
Found about half way down my arms.

LOL!

Looks beautiful Justin!!! You get the carpets so clean!! You use just woolite and the shop vac, no? I'll bet the owner never saw it look so good! Great work!:applause: Did you polish the headlights too?

The compliments are well deserved honey. You used the carnauba finishing glaze on the headlights?? or something else? The car came out so beautiful. Like better than brand new. Do you use a brush or a dedicated MF for the wheel wells?:applause:

Looks really good. Did you take off that UGLY DEALER sticker?!?!!? I hate those so much!

What did you use on the engine?

As always a job well done!

The XMT Glaze looks SWEET on the Chrysler. Justin i did an Chrysler 05 300 C
and had a real hard time cutting the swirls since you used a Glaze obviously you didnt have the same Exp, did you find the CC super hard?As you can see the cars are alike the 2nd pic is of ClearKote VMG the XMT looks a bit wetter.

Justin, you did a great job on the engine and wheel wells, those are the most missed spots.

Maybe by some but Not by Justin.

He's the Im the MAN

Are you sure the glaze didn't just hide the swirls instead of removing them? I know when my buddy used RMG he though he got a bunch done, and after 2-3 washes the same swirls showed, it really just filled them. But maybe the orange cutting pad works well with the glazes.

Seems like a good idea, light swirls, just use a cutting pad and xmt glaze (or other) and top straight with a nuba, quick and great looks.

Great turnaround Justin.......that thing was filthy! White carpet? I almost hate detailing cars like that, but it's worth it when the owner sees the difference. I've got 2 bottles of the XMT Glaze and have yet to use it. I guess I need to break it out soon:p

I personally always wanted a car with bright white leather and black carpet. I think that's the sweetest combo you can get(knowing how hard it is to clean tan carpet). But the only cars I've seen that come in that combo are Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Jaguar XJ. That's a little too expensive for me.:D
Just my 2 cents.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it looks fantastic when clean, but keeping it clean is what I was referring to. It seems like it would get dirty everytime you got in it. That 300 cockpit looks really nice.....i like it!

headlight polishing

hey justin,
great job on the detail. i always look forward to seeing the cars after your done with them. one quick question..what product was used to polish the headlights? they look amazing! :righton:
