wow... honestly thats the second regular coupe ive ever seen, and the other one was seen online as well. i swear they made more M coupes than they did regular z3 coupes. which is really werd to me but oh well, love those cars!

That one step product"X" - is that carnauba (like Optimum Poli-Seal)
or sealant based?

I tend to charge for the steps used instead of the hours. Hourly is not fair to the customer. It was cold outside and this slowed me down. Wasn't the condition of the vehicle. This customer has also sent me tons of business and is my wife's boss. I ended up washing their Z3 hatch while I was there too and gave it a coat of Max Wax. Charged 75.00 for that. To me, 300.00 isnt' a bad days work for 5-6 hours!

Can you fill me/us in on how you charge by the number of steps? Do you charge the same price for each step or does it vary; ie - wash charge same as polish charge? How do you determine how much you're going to charge for each step? Obviously, if a person is charging by the hour, it's easier to come up with a number (what you want to make X hours to complete + product cost = total price).

I figured I'd bring this thread back to life with this question instead of PM'ing you so other's can hear what you have to say.
