2005 Harley Davidson - Black paint and Pearl white paint w/ blue specks, lots of chrome, some polished aluminum

Time: 4 hours from pulling up to leaving with lots of pictures.

Wash:
Washed the wheels with DP Gel Wheel cleaner and Mr. Clean detailing tool.

Washer white walls with step one tire cleaner and black Shmitt.

Quick detailed the entire bike with PB's S&W and Cobra deluxe.

Detail:
Wheels polished with Edge yellow foam tipped and Mother's Chrome polish.
The rest of chrome polished with English Custom Metal Hot Chrome polish and Megs foam app or Edge green foam tip.

(ECM chrome polish is great, it's more a protectant for chrome imo and went on very easy and came off easy. It's best to let sit for awhile, and then buff off, a little goes a longggggg way. Left the chrome extremely slick. The Mother's chrome polish is more of a cleaning polish)

Forks cleaned with DG aluminum polish, the cotton version
Headlights cleaned with Klasse AIO and #0000 steel wool
Windshield cleaned with AIO and foam app
Mirrors cleaned with DP Krystal Glass Cleaner
Leather treated with Pinnacle Conditioner

Paint:
Polished with WG's finger pockets and XMT #3, folllowed by XMT #1.
Cleaned with CK VM and Megs app
Glazed with RMG and Megs app
Topped with Souveran paste

Looks good. So did he think it was worth the price?

Very, professional job!!!

Simply stunning work on the chrome. Takes just as long as doing any car.

Thanks for this!

Nice job Greg! I know all about some PITA to wash motorcycles. I had some close friends that built custom choppers, they always wanted me to clean them and polish them. It's worth the money if you get it. Most owners love washing their own bikes, but then there are the ones that depend on us :)

Great write up and choice of products. The bike looks showroom new!

I wish the pictures turned out half as good as what it looks like in person.

The chrome and paint was already very clean, but under the nooks and crannies of the engine and wheels.. this is where a lot of work was needed.

I'm not sure what I would charge for a bike, at least $100-$150 depending on the bike.
The owner is my boss at my work, so I 100% left the price up to him, he was with me the entire time and gave me $80, which I was pleasantly surprised at.

He wanted it polished up for a bike show tomorrow, (should be over 1,000 bikes)

Wow looking very nice Thunder. That blue exhaust pipe is really nice. I see those on some import tuners :p

Wowo! Great work! And i always wonder how those White tire paint shine ?? any tip and Suggestion? Or is there any paint which can paint on white wheel (more often seen in classic cars and bikes):props::props::applause:
