Detailed: 2005 Mercedes E55 AMG

Won, lurking for a bit looking at these details, and I just can't believe people let their cars go like that. Nice job on the detailing, let's hope they keep it that way.

That's a great turnaround, Justin! Simply amazing, bro. Thanks for sharing your tips on removing dog's hair (fabric softener mx), and PwS/Menzerna Wax 50/50. How different to you find it then just using PwS by itself or Menzerna wax by itself? Durability is different, better paint cleaning up?

Wow! Who knew such a great looking car was under all that grime. Great job.

Wowzers!!! And I agree with anyone that said they need a swift kick in the pants... IDK how much money you have, you should take better care of your belongings. Hey give me some more info on this Downy mix you got going on??

Well, it's the liquid fabric softener and I cut it 20:1. I spray it onto the carpets and mats, let sit, and then I use blue nitrile glove to push into the pile.

How does it work?

The fabric softener is anti-static. This release the electric bond between the hair and carpet fibers. The hair then sticks to gloves like magic. You've seen this before with a balloon and long hair that sticks to it.

Oh yeah, one other benefit. You've just deodorized the vehicle's carpets!

It's shame that someone spends that much money on a Mercedes and can't keep it maintained. Great job!

That's pretty sweet, question though what did you use on the door jams to clean them, did you wax them too?

I blast them with my pressure washer after degreasing them. I then come back with glass cleaner to prep the surface for spray waxing.

Great job...I'm with the others on how could anyone let a car like that get into that condition...go buy a honda element for crying out loud!

question on the engine cleaning process...have you ever had any issues soaking the engine like that...just seems a bit much...the engine does look great though!

oh, and what is the "baking" process? im curious because i would like to help abuddy of mine who has a terribly dirty engine and its a shame because he has a lot of money in it..

edit: never mind i found a post you made that explains the baking process

>The owners need a good kick in the arse for letting such a nice car get that bad.
I second that

Outstanding job! That owner needs a foot broke off somewhere, allowing a MB to look like that!

Dear Jesus I can't believe people let their MBs get that dirty.

Great job on the turnaround.
