Got a referral again from a hair salon I left numerous cards at. The owner keeps sending them my way. ALL MINI DETAILS OR FULL DETAILS :) I'm just going to clean the owners on the house next time :p

Anyways I brought the truck in about 11:30am and finished up around 1:30pm.

Work included
  • Wash with DG 901 via mini-foam gun and white/yellow schmitt :)
  • Westley's BW tires and Simple Green Wheels/Wells.
  • Dried with MF and moved onto to the XMT 360 via white polishing pad. It took 20 minutes to go over the whole truck. I just wanted to lay down a good clean coat of this come back over it with LSP.
  • Next I moved onto the Interior. Cleaning with UV2 on the vinyl and Clearkote QS on the door jams. The truck only has 8k on the clock so it wasn't that dirty.
  • Next I cleaned the interior windows after vacuuming and proceeded to the finish the outside.
  • I scorched the tires with this new tire shine I'm trying. It's name is ONYX from hollander products here in GA. This stuff smells great and doesn't sling.
  • Next I doctor'd the trim with 303 AP and proceeded to LSP.
  • I love some liquid souveran so out it came! I wanted to see the results of XMT360 topped with LS vs. PB PWS topped with LS.... I wasn't really comparing apples to apples as far as the color of vehicle, but I wanted to check the depth and slickness.
  • ;) A-Mazing is all I can say. In 2 hours this truck was B%^chin and I was happy with the outcome of the white. Thanks AG for such a great products.
  • $100 plus a $25 tip :righton:

I'll have to keep this in mind when I do my Dad's white Taco... That just looks awesome.

Amazing work once AGAIN! hehe and in an amazingly short period of time to boot. Great work. So by "mini detail" you don't include clay or a 2 step polish? Just the one step? And does that always=a aio type product? or would you use a straight polish from time to time? What if the car needs a claying? Is that just a "surcharge" on top of the mini detail price? or does that move it up to a full detail?

I base the claying on a "if needed" basis. I explain to the customer that the car will be slick and fully coated no matter what I do. The XMT 360 cleans so well that I don't have to clay most newer cars... I will always do a 2-step on a mini detail, but only a 1-step on a wash and wax. If I do a 1-step and the paints rough... well I'll go with a quick clay around some of the problem areas and then lay down the wax to test the feel, but if still rough I might go over it with the XMT360 or PB PWS and just eat the cost of the extra time needed to please the customer. I do this to make sure they keep coming back to me :)

Brilliant work! I cannot believe you did the entire truck with XMT 360 in 20 minutes. That's how long it takes me to just get my PC out and center the pad!!!

I worked it quick on speed 5 one panel at a time and don't take breaks.... I just had to have this one done in two hours. The customer couldn't believe the slickness. He lives in Flordia and comes up to my hometown to see his family every 3 months. I told him the products used on his truck were from FL and tested there as well, he was even more satisfied then. He told me every 3 months be looking for his phone call :)

Looks good, but your black one looks meaner:righton:

So, based on looking at your site, this truck was a "Wash N' Wax, medium size?" And on the site, it says clay and wax, but you substituted the 360 for the clay because the truck wasn't too contaminated with grit? I think I got that right. hehe :) So, most every "mini detail" you do would involve the clay and the 360?

Two hours, that's kicking butt big time. You done a great job on the the write up, I did enjoyed that. It had the process, products and steps. Bam bam bam, awesome. 360 that stuff dose work fast. When I used it for the first time I was like wow! It was fast and looks great.
Man I love the reflection shots, and it's white. Amazing work my friend. :applause:

It's was pure overcast too. I'm surprised I had any reflections. Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Nimble your right on the mini detail I take it just a step forward and clay only problem areas that 360 can't clean.
