So i spend about three days completly detailing my personal car. Just a little background on me I have been a member of the autogeek forum for about a year and half. Ive been detailing cars since i was 16 (by no means a professional detailer but have learned a lot trough the years). I have detailed a lot cars from hondas all they way too a Lambo Murcielago. Before i go into showing the pics I am going to give you a step by step process of how I detailed my car. Any tips will be greatly appreciated

1. Rinsed car
2. Autogeek foam gun with DP Extreme Foam
3. Then with the two bucket wash system i hand washed the car with Pinnacle body work shampoo using the DODO juice wookie fist.
4. Used another mitt for the lower part of the car and then used two seprate auto sponges for wheels tires and wheel wells
5. Used the Foam gun one more time
5. Sheeted the car and used a leaf blower to dry the car.
6. Used DP Waterless wash to clean door jams trunk and Engine Bay

DROVE THE CAR AROUND THE DRIVE WAY TO CLEAN ROTORS

Wheel Detailing
1. Dried the wheels with leaf blower and tires
2. Sparyed some Meguiars synthetic wax spray to get remaing dirt of the wheels and rust from the rotors
3. Used some Swissvax wheel wax love the stuff

Paint Work
1. PC with a 5.5 orange pad with Megs 105 to remove some swirls well atleast the ones I could find
2. Polished the paint with a 5.5 white pad used Megs 205

Nice work. Did you shoot pics of your car in a cemetery? Lol.

Yeah I was going to see my old man and when I was leaving thought the car looked nice so I snapped a few pics. My dad taught me a lot about detailing so I know he wouldn't mind hahahhaa.

Car looks stunning, love the light blue tint in the paint, atleast it looks like it in some of the pics. Also the wheels, I've said it once and I'll say it again, BEST LOOKING STOCK WHEELS EVER! This is NOT opinion, its FACT! Find me another set that look better from the factory......go ahead, I'll wait.....and wait.....and wait.....

looks sparkly to me

nice work man... seems fitting that you took the pics there, a detailing father would be proud :xyxthumbs:

@klasse ok. . . ok . . . ill agree with you, since thats what you were lookin for. But i have to say those are pretty damn nice wheels for factory. Id prefer them to be on a lexus lol but were not debatign makes here, jsut agreeing on some pretty fly factory wheels

Great results , happen to have a silver ride too !

Can you take a pic ( s ) of the roof please ( if possible ) just want to know if it s a carbon finish & what color .

It is a carbon finish obviously black lol. But ill snap a few as soon as I get home

I don't think I've seen that paint (that I can remember) on a BMW, I love it though, nice work!

Well you could get the next one, all 3 turbo's too!

People are flaming on the idea that it will now be turbocharged but i'll patiently wait. I gotta admit though, i'm not entirely thrilled.

N/A>Turbo ANY DAY due to driving experience and instant throttle response. But i've owned a few very nice turbo charged cars in my past also. I now have a BMW 335i Coupe that i'll be selling soon since i just leased a Porsche Cayenne. Even though BMW and auto publications touted the "nearly" zero turbo lag of the 335i, the difference is still like night and day to me compared to my old M3.

Doesn't the turbo'd 335 have more tq than the M3 engine (E46)? Even a stock TT 335 has great power. When I worked at this Lotus dealership back home I drove a 993 out to Minneapolis and brought back an 07 or 08 335 w/ 6 spd and that thing rolled! I can only imagine one chipped, SRI and exhaust!

I'm a huge bmw enthusiasts and I hate the fact all m are going force induction. I love NA engines and I love them on the track as well. Nothing feels better then churning out that high rev v8 on the back straight into a hairpin mmmmmm lol I just got a little excited thinking about it lol. Even f1 is going force induction next year ( I am huge F1 fan Forza Felipe)

335i is probably just as quick in a straight line as my old E46 M3. And a chipped E92 335i is probably quicker than a stock E92 M3. But that's where the comparison ends. M3 is so much better than a regular 3 series in every other way. The regular 3 series is sloppy compared to the M3. M3 is the benchmark and that's why i'm patiently waiting and not pre-judging.

No one buys a M3 but later say they desire a 335i. Where as i'm sure many 335i owners would rather be driving a M3. Vise-versa Cayman and Carrera. It's kinda like comparing M-DCT (or PDK) dual clutch transmission with a regular manual transmission. A dual clutch transmission is quicker than a regular manual transmission but there a sense of excitement when driving with a manual transmission. It's intangible like life insurance.
