Detailed: nasty 2002 Chevy PART 1

Awesome job, Chris!! What a turnaround. As some have said here, I wouldn't know where to start or have the patience for that. It was FILTHY!! Saw the TP in the back seat and wondered if he took a crap in there too!! Geez!! Enough loose change lying around on the floor for a sizeable tip? :D Nice work!! Looking forward to the before/after of the exterior.

Chris, I feel your pain! Great work, can't wait for part two!!! I had some bad ones, but not that bad. Here are some pic's of the worst!

That is one massive turnaround!

My favorite part? The Conway Twitty CD!!!

i must say i woundnt know what to do with my self cleaning that truck, i wouldnt know where to start

That's easy! Step 1 - put on rubber gloves.

Yuck! I wouldn't touch that truck with a ten foot poll. Nice work bringing that back from disgusting. BTW, were those Armor All wipes in the back seat? Goes to show how good that stuff is. :D

DAMN.
I do not normally curse.......but that was my reaction. Simply a tough job turned into a nice detail. Lot's of work and patience on this on Tex.

Tempted to use the pressure washer on the inside? YES....LOL
Black Magic Interior Protectant on the interior, yes. Applied with a MF towel. I did not clean with it. I cleaned with Megs APC diluted 1:5, via a MF towel, actually, about 2 dozen MF's....hahaha

For the carpet, I vac'd first, for about 2 hours or so.....
Then I used OXY and water. Pour on and scrub with a stiff bristle brush. The extracted with the shop vac. I am saving up to buy a hot water extractor. Not the little ones, but a big one. Mytee brand. For the crevices, I use different types of things....brushes, Q-tips...etc. The one I always grab first it the toothbrush. I picked up about a dozen from Wal Mart. They had cheapos for .50 each on clearance........

Saw that you and Shawn are using the OXY mix. I might have to.......well I will try it out. Do you get the tub? What's your ratios?

Justin,
I had to get a tetinus shot after, well during, a detail some time back. Rusty razor blade under the seat. Really tore my fingers up.

As far as OXY, for really bad interiors, sich as this one, I mixed a wash bucket of water with 2.5 scoops of OXY. And yea....I buy the super mega tub...LOL

For everyone else, Part 2 will be up shortly.....

Oh my GOODNESS what a mess!!! what's with the toilet paper in the backseat?? What's he DOING in that truck??

Chris you really had your work cut out for you on that one! You did an amazing transformation! It looks a million times better! :applause:

I hope he is paying you well because God knows he'll make more money out of the sale of it due to your hard work!
