Detailers Needed at Detail Fest - Who's going?

My very good friend and Competition Ready TV show Team Member and Alumni Student, Rinardo Wilson, just purchased a brand new Jeep Cherokee. For fun, he would like to prep the paint and apply a ceramic paint coating LIVE at Detail Fest to share the process with all the attendees to help bring awareness about the benefits of ceramic paint coatings.


Here's the car, this is a brand new, 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

He has a couple of guys already to help with this project but would like to get two more team members for each day, (Saturday and Sunday)

Being brand new, it shouldn't need compounding, only polishing to perfect the paint for a ceramic coating, so my guess is the process will look something like this,

  1. Waterless wash
  2. Clay paint to remove contaminants
  3. Machine polish to remove shallow swirls and scratches
  4. Prep paint for coating
  5. Apply coating
  6. Finishing touches



Rinardo has a couple of guys already signed up but would like to have at least one or two more people to be on the team. One half of the Jeep will be prepped and coated on Saturday and the other half on Sunday.

Wish i could have made it, :( i know you guys will do an amazzzing job, no better place then at Autogeek Detail Fest and under the direction of Mike Phillips your gunna have a blast. Ill be watching from cyber space

Just to make sure everyone knows, Renozx12 = Rinardo, the guy that owns the Jeep.

So as you can see, he's up to speed with you that are going to help out.

Hi Mike and everyone! If i make it down it will only be for a little bit with friends for fun :-) I will find you guys and at least say hi..maybe i can jump in to help some. I just dont want to ditch my friends for to long. It will be nice to see all the friends we dont get to see in person all the time. What a great event this is and its pretty cool Rinardo is getting his new ride coated at the show. Nice ride Rinardo!
