Hi everyone!
I am looking for a good seat to do some detailing without breaking my back off since I am 6"2 and really cant bare this anymore so I figure getting a good seat that can be adjustable and comfortable for doing some detailing stuff.
If you guys have any suggestion I would be appreciate.

Thanks,
Eliran

I have an old computer chair that is able to be lowered. It rolls and spins and works perfectly.

I saw this one from Griot's Garage but I wanted to know if there are other good things. I hope AutoGeek will start carrying seat for detailing.

(sorry link deleted, competitors site)

That is expensive. Look in a hardware store.

I bought the Adams seat off Amazon, yes it’s more expensive, but I like the wide seat as opposed to the round smaller seat as I can lean left or right…. I put a stadium pad on it for more comfort, I’ve used it about seven or eight times now and it works perfect .I really like the locking wheels and storage drawer. available on Amazon and Many just like it.

Has anyone tried Speed Master creeper the one with the round seat. it is on auto geeks web sight. thank you

Yes, and safer too with the wider "wheelbase". I take the back off an office chair. Add larger roller blade casters from ebay for easier rolling and not catching in the concrete expansion joints. I use a shorter cylinder to lower the seat height.

I just rock the HF cheap one. I'm 6 foot 3 and have a bad back but between the seat and my quickjack I polish in comfort :)

FYI the day after I wrote this that harbor freight roller broke in half and I went down with it. Hahaha I take back my previous recommendation.
