So today i was out and had a lady comment on my painted taillights. I told her i do them so, she wanted her black Cadillac Cts lights done while i was looking i said man i do detailing too. the roof had NO reflection totally flat faded out grey so i got her to get a test spot car has swirls and RIDs on every inch of the car
did a square foot on her roof and She was Amazed it came back to life and i was amazed how easy it was working out . so she was hooked tomorrow i start 7am will try and take pictures along the way and post my results here.

Will be using a PC XP Meguiars 105 with orange pad for first few passes then switch to 205 with a black pad :buffing: then if im not polished out for the day throw a quick coat of NXT tech 2.0 with a red pad ..

what do you like after 105 205 combo?Feed back please

The m26 on the black will look really good. But it won't last too long. You may wanna seal the paint with a sealant so if she doesn't maintain the car it will be protected for a while.

i ordered the meguiars kit with 3 orange and 2 black and some red wax pads and 105 205 but i see they sell it at auto zone too i dont have any sealants i dont think except the zaino z8 spray seal

If they have m21 get that. Pretty good sealant

i know the good stuf you gotta order but the detail is at 7 in the morning was gunna swing by and grab something if i use 105,205,tech wax 2.0 is that "ok" or not a good combo

got any quick tips for the headlights on these things they are pretty yellow ihave the old do it yourself kit 2 sanding discs and a buffer for a drill with 2 plastic polishes but are about empty hope they last

I don't think nxt lasts very long. Back in the day if I couldn't seal and went straight to a wax I would go w something like s100. You can get it OTC at any Harley dealer.

M105 and m205 should be great on the car especially if it's a sea of swirls. Test 205 first on a cutting pad see how that corrects. You may be surprised. If not step up to 105. The nxt isn't bad it should be fine. You can also top it with the 26 so you get the protection from nxt and the extra pop from the carnauba.

ive usedother stuff and the 105 205 combo a few cars already but they were already in good shape so wasnt any dramatic results this will be my first BAD car

Forgot you said you already did a test spot. Sounds like a plan then. Just check autozone if you go tomorrow for the m21. That's a pretty good sealant and should be good for her car. Maybe you can get her to have you detail it every couple months and wash it in between.

and this is a new random customer who doesnt know my work and has other cars so i will be doing my best..for the price poiint

You should. So a great job and she may come back to you to do the other cars. I think based on her reaction to your test spot she'll be thrilled with the turnout of the car. Make sure you upload some pictures to this thread!

I usually clay them follow by m105 then m80 and m205 sealed with collonite 426. Good luck on the detail!
