Ok so here is the thread I promised you guys. From what I have seen in other threads, I'm thinking I will do the same. So here is the list of things I will be doing in steps since what I plan to do can't be done in a day....well not for a guy that has 2 jobs and works seven days a week :( I will also add pics of the products I will be using as well as a before n after shot....
***NOTE: I am not a pro-detailer by any stretch except to say I LOVE to take care of my car and LOVE a freshly waxed car in the rain an seeing the water just bead off a gleaming car! ! Anyhow, let's get this show on the road shall we?;

1. Clay windows and apply rain-X
2. Remove protective plastic from front foot area (over the winter, I put in some 4 mil thick plastic to prevent salt damage on my nice clean carpets :)
3. Vacuum and clean inside, includes windows, dash, trim, etc etc.
4. Car exterior; ***this will be by far the longest process so I will save this for a day when I have 6-8 hours to spare :)

  • wash n dry
  • apply iron-X (wait 5 min then rinse off)
  • wash n dry
  • clay from top to bottom
  • wash n dry
  • apply Wolfgangs Deep Gloss Paint Sealant....if I ever get my hands on some :( (let stand for 30-45 min)
  • Buff off the residue and park in garage overnight
5. Clean n dress tires

6. ***NEXT DAY*** Mask off trim areas I don't want wax on.
7. Apply wax n buff off with some new MF towels I got from my distributor here in Canada "e-shine"
8. Any other steps after this one I will add to this thread....early in the morning here so I need coffee :P
Stay tuned for my pics n progress ok?
Thanks for looking...and feel free to post some tips, likes etc as well.

Sounds good, cant wait to see some pix. And your right, there is something about watching the beading after a new coat of wax when you wash it or it rains. Gives you a warm fuzzy inside.

*1. Check all fluids, belts and hoses...add or replace as needed
*2. Check air pressure in all 5 tires...add if needed.
*3.Check tire tread condition.
*4.Check windshield wipers for wear...replace if needed.

LOL...

J/K hand!!!

Sounds like a plan...awaiting pictorial review of said.:props:

Happy detailing...:autowash:

Ok so I finally found someone that has a bottle of the Wolfs Deep Gloss Sealant V3 and he's sending it to me this week. Didn't want to put wax on my fresh paint without a coat of wolfs sealant ;) . So I should be able to start the exterior next weekend.
For now...tomorrow, I'll start with the inside...I'll be sure to take before n afters k? thats it for now and thanks for reading
